Im not sure what kind of bulkheads I need or the difference between them aside from size

    Bulk Reef Supply Hi Tyler,
A slip fitting is one that you insert a pipe into and then glue. A threaded fitting is one that has threads and is screwed together with another threaded fitting. A pipe wont go into a threaded fitting and vice versa so which bulkhead you get really depends on what type of fitting you plan to connect to it. If for example you want a threaded strainer on one side and a threaded barb connection on the other, a thread x thread bulkhead would be what your looking for.

for 3/4 and 1 inch bulk head s- 40 what size male fitting go inside this bulk head

    Bulk Reef Supply Hi Michael,
If you have a threaded fitting then a 3/4" male threaded and 1" male threaded fitting would go into the 3/4" and 1" bulkheads respectively.

Haven't tested my new bulkheads, but seem like a solid product, I have no doubt they will work well.

Use with the proper diamond drill bit as directed by BRS and it makes drilling your tank a breeze!
  • Ok for the price but go with slip fittings on the dry side By Alex on 11/25/2013

The only leaks I got when plumbing my new system are from the underside of threaded bulkheads. Go with slip and never drip a drop!
  • Do not buy these By Matt on 11/9/2013

I used probably three or four of these before I realized the slow leak wasn't my fault (overtightening, something on the glass, etc). The bulkheads are just not good.

I highly recommend you get the Lifegard Aquatics bulkheads instead. They're built a lot better, with higher quality plastic and gaskets for roughly the same cost.
  • Awesome By Kyle4201 on 8/12/2013

    yep,, its a bulkhead. lol
  • I like it By Tim on 7/14/2013

It's nice to get all your odd fitting at one place. . These T to T bulkheads are a great reusable option. I cant count how many slip ones i've tossed after re-plumbing something.
  • great quality By Tim on 7/14/2013

Wonderful quality hard to find type of bulkhead. the thread to thread make them reusable. Great option
