Did I get your attention? By Gotcha on 8/17/2014Gotcha would recommend this product to a friendGood! Because this rock is epic!
Best Dry Rock Around By Kelly on 8/11/2014Kelly would recommend this product to a friendWhen I picked up my order of rock, I was surprised that there were little rubble pieces. The rock was VERY pourus and light. Plus it is very easy to work with if you want to be creative with sculpting. Well worth it for the price.
Perfect Rock By Greg on 8/11/2014Greg would recommend this product to a friendSure you can get shelf rock or Tonga branch or whatever. But you'll still need a base. This rock fits the mold for both base and a full out aquascape. Cycling the rock was fast and I haven't seen any PO4 leaching. If I have any complaint it's the amount of rubble that was in the box. But I saw the warning and knew to expect some so I ordered 5lbs extra for insurance.
Great Value By Felix on 8/1/2014Felix would recommend this product to a friendUsed this to start a 65g last october. It comes in great large sizes which can be broken down and shaped to your liking. Stacks great and kind of interlocks with each other.
Nice Base Rock By Chris on 7/22/2014Chris would recommend this product to a friendMake sure you cure this before adding to your system if it's going into an established one. I would recommend curing for about 2 weeks longer than you think you should. I cooked this rock in heated salt water for about a month and it wasn't quite enough when i added it to my system.
Easy to aquascape.... very porous.... lots of hiding places for critters.
Good rock. By A on 7/15/2014A would recommend this product to a friendIt is a good way to reduce pests. I am not sure why people fight with live rock so much.
awesome rock By John on 7/11/2014John would recommend this product to a friendI just bought 30 pounds of Reef Saver and I can't wait to put it in a tank. I got more rock than I thought I would. I am very pleased with it.
Excellent Rock, but Rubble order not needed By Neil on 6/26/2014Neil would recommend this product to a friendI received 75 lbs of Reef Saver for my 75 gal tank. I also received the 10 lbs of rubble that I thought that I would need after watching a video on the Reef Saver and talking to a Customer Rep. Well, as it turns out, there must have been enough pieces broken off during shipping (note inside of shipment stated this may happen) that I didn't need the rubble. I had enough pieces in the main shipment to fill in any areas that I thought needed it. So, you may not want to waste your money on the rubble as I did. I really like the Reef Save rock as it fits together nicely. The recommended 1 lb/gal was just right for me.
great rock By Adam on 6/24/2014Adam would recommend this product to a friendJust got my rock today I oredered 10lbs and got closer to 15lbs. This rock looks great and you cant find it cheaper any where else. I'm so glad I found BRS they are the best. I wont get my supplies anywere else
Reef saver dry live rock By Cess on 6/18/2014Cess would recommend this product to a friendI like how easy to handle this rock for my aquascaping. Its easier to handle than Pukani but I love both rocks.
AWESOME By Sammy on 6/14/2014Sammy would recommend this product to a friendI set up my current tank back in March of 2014. This was the first time I have used dry rock. I've always heard great things about the rock at BRS and let me say, it is absolutely true. I got great pieces, multiple sizes, and very holey rock! I did not see any problems regarding PO4 as some have claimed with dry rock. Plus the added benefit of knowing I didn't take rock from the ocean is appealing as well. You cannot go wrong with this purchase.
Great Purchase and Great Rock By Matt on 6/14/2014Matt would recommend this product to a friendWith stores selling live rock at $7-$10 a pound, this is a great option to save some cash. I have a new 180 gallon tank and elected to buy half live rock locally and half dry rock from BRS. Saved $500 and more pleased with looks and sizes of the dry rock. The live rock will seed the dry rock and over time is will all become Excellent live rock. Pieces were large and some rubble in bottom to make frag plugs. A+++

I'm setting up a 35 gallon 20inX20in cube, out of the three pukani, reef saver or Fiji which offers the smaller pieces my tank requires for me to get the best results aquascaping? Thanks!
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Kyle,
Fiji and Reef Saver offer the smallest size pieces. Personally I prefer reefsaver in these types of situations as it is really easy to stack and create your aquascape.

do you need to cure reef saver rock the same as you would live rock or is it fairly free of organics?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey John,
We would advise cycling any type rock from any source because it just isn't worth the risk of your live stock not too. As far as the rock goes though, the reef saver is by far the cleanest of any of the rocks right off the bat.
by Steve on September 5, 2013, @6:11 PM
Is the price shown here the price per pound? Thanks.
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Steve,
Yes the rock is sold by the pound, so the quantity you enter in the quantity field is the number of pounds you are ordering.

Howdy y'all, I've seen the video of Ryan chiseling and cutting the Pukani rock. Is the Reef Saver rock as easy to manipulate and cut? Thank you!
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Blake,
The Reef Saver rock is much harder and not nearly as easy to manipulate. If you want to chisel out caves and the like I would highly recommend going with the pukani :-)

Do you ship reef saver rocks to Canada? Your website says no tonga, pukari etc.
Bulk Reef Supply Hi Leo,
Yes the reef saver rock can be shipped to Canada.
BRS Reef Saver Dry Aquarium Live Rock can be shipped to Canada.
BRS Reef Saver Dry Aquarium Live Rock, our environmentally friendly rock, works great for aquascaping. This rock is 100% free of nuisance algae and pests which can cause complete tank shut downs and is guaranteed to be free of apitasia, bubble algae, parasitic isopods, mantis shrimp, acro eating flat worms, little red bugs, fire worms, predatory nudibranchs, pyramidellid snails and other common pests. BRS Reef Saver rock comes in unique shapes that fit well together to make interesting and unique structures. BRS Reef Saver Rock arrives at our warehouse pre-soaked and rinsed. This is by far our cleanest rock.
BRS makes every effort to securely pack the Rock. However, the UPS automation is not always gentle on heavy products like this and they do not consider this product insurable. Because of this, there is some inherent risk with shipping rock like this across the country and it is impossible to replace or refund broken pieces. If this happens most pieces can be repaired with epoxy.
