These are general guidelines only. Many factors, such as tank depth, types of corals, and coral placement can affect individual lighting needs.
*24" ATI PowerModule does not have sweeping effect as it only has a single cluster of LED lights.
**T5 dimming not available on 80W units.

Hummm... with LEDs...!?! By A. grandis on 11/3/2016A. grandis would recommend this product to a friendI've never used this fixture, but aways had the regular T5 only fixtures, including the dimmable.
They are all very good and high quality products.
I would expect the same for the hybrid, in regards to quality.
The need of a hybrid system came because of the market, with such high numbers of new LED systems out every day. People tend to believe what the market is about and they live the "technology dream". It is very expensive to live such dream and most times totally necessary in many ways.
I would prefer to get a regular ATI T5 fixture. To me it's more important to have the space filled by another T5 bulb then any LED in the market today, and still save the money when buying the fixture.
There are many types of LEDs and I would choose to trust that ATI would use a high quality bulbs/system.
The combination of T5 bulbs in my point of view is so important that the space taken by those LEDs would be far better filled by other T5 bulbs!!
Not that the hybrid system wouldn't work. It will, because basically they are removing T5 bulbs and replacing it by LEDs. The only additional "benefit" to it is the shimmering, with is more of a personal visible preference than anything else.
But if you pay less for the T5 only fixture, you will pay a bit more for electricity and bulb replacement in the long run. I would rather do that then get the hybrid.
The hybrid could be more prompt to failures and electronic problems. With a simple T5 fixture that wouldn't be the case, I would think.
The Power and PAR of a T5 bulb would be much better distributed then the LEDs IMO.
I'm not flaming the fixture, just saying what I would prefer. Space is very important in the T5 fixture!!
If you have the money, love LED systems and want to try because of the shimmering I would think this is the best option in the market because the T5s the primary source of light. You will have the proven power of the T5s and your tank will be very successful because of that!
My 4 stars goes to the T5 part of the fixture and ATI trusted quality!
