Product Questions

Hi, how would I convert the tds reading in ppm to an EC reading - the conversionn depends on the type of tds meter - is this a hanna / trunchon / eutech meter?
Question by: john on May 11, 2022, 5:52 PM
The TDS-3 meter (https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/tds-3-handheld-tds-meter-hm-digital.html) is manufactured by HM Digital and not related to Hanna Instruments or other manufacturers. We do not have any conversion information for this unit so we suggest reaching out to HM Digital directly at 800-383-2777 or info@hmdigital.com.

does this need calibration fluid?
Question by: trent on Apr 26, 2014, 3:50 PM
Hi Trent,
No, they come pre-calibrated from the factory. Given the sensitivity of the instrument and the process involved its really recommended to not mess with the calibration or your really likely to make it less accurate.
