Product Questions

Is this compatible with the Controall app like my Syncra return pump?
Question by: Brian Harrigan on Jan 7, 2023, 4:10 PM
This wave pump can only be controlled with the included controller.
Answer by: William Reed (BRS Staff) on Jan 12, 2023, 4:57 PM
I currently have Fusion 10 that I am running a Vortex MP10 on, I am upsizing to a Reefer 250 and want to use the MP10 controlled by my Apex Jr. Can I add the XstreamE and control it with my Apex as a wave maker with the MP10? Also does the Xstream have a battery backup feature? Would your recommendation be to add the Xstream or add another MP10?
Question by: Cliff on Jan 27, 2017, 10:55 AM
Awesome questions! In order to control the MP10 with your Apex, you would need an additional WXM module. For the XStream, you would need the cable in the link below. Personally, I would purchase another MP10 for their low profile look, without cords in the water. There is no proprietary battery backup with the XStream, like there is for the MP10. :-)

I know if your BRS video you recommend only using the voyager pumps for the Siccee wave controller...however I see these are DC, would these be acceptable with the wave controller?
Question by: Jeremy Bock on May 17, 2016, 4:53 PM
Great question!
The DC x stream will come with a controller not intended to be turned off and on on a regular basis. We only recommend AC pump in this configuration.

The pump magnets will hold perfectly on 3/4" thick acrylic and glass! Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
