I know if your BRS video you recommend only using the voyager pumps for the Siccee wave controller...however I see these are DC, would these be acceptable with the wave controller?
Question by: Jeremy Bock on May 17, 2016 4:53:00 PM
Great question!
The DC x stream will come with a controller not intended to be turned off and on on a regular basis. We only recommend AC pump in this configuration.

Small but great Flow, set up on my Apex so it can do what ever you need or want & it's the quietest pump in my tank including my Tunzes
  • Edited Review By Jeremy on 5/20/2016

I am new to the hobby and didnt realize I had put out bad information in my earlier review. Okay, these are DC pumps...meaning they SHOULD NOT BE used with the wave surfer...with that being said there still top notch pumps...there just not meant for the Sicce wave surfer. The Sicce Voyagers are the ones you need...
  • Good product By Jeremy on 5/17/2016

Okay...so here is the skinny on these guys. They are super small...like when I say small, I mean tiny! They work great! Only drawback is they make a loud click noise if you have them on a controller with alternating times they come on...other than that they seem wonderful. These guys can move some water around. Good pumps if you not wanting to spend the money on the vortech and other pumps. To be honest my powerheads don't always make the clicking on sound either, there brand new and I'm hoping that once they break in you cant hear it as much.
  • Small, Silent, and Powerful By Chris on 12/14/2015

I'm quite impressed with this little powerhead. It's more compact than its competition, impossible to hear, and has a nice range of flow rates. The included 5-speed controller is adequate although it feels a bit cheap. The pump itself seems quite well-constructed. Flow spread seems just right, avoiding the laser beam effect that some of the Tunzes have.
  • Powerful, Super Quiet, and practically invisible By alex on 5/6/2015

This pump is awesome placed one on each side of my tank. They move plenty of water and the are dead silent. Love the fact that they are controllable, the random mode is extremely effective and soon Sicce will have a controller cable for my Neptune apex. Did I mention the are super quiet
