Very good product - good package By Jeff on 5/2/13
Jeff would recommend this product to a friendThis kit came with everything I needed and I must say that the pumps are top notch.
I would suggest that you "calibrate" the pumps as the instructions suggest. I found mine dose 1.5 and 1.8ml per minute rather than the 1.1 advertised.
A reef controller to go along with this is not a must have, but a major convenience. -
Love it By Skimdude on 4/8/13
Skimdude would recommend this product to a friendThe pumps work great. I have them hooked up to the apex controller. The mix is very simple and dissolves fast and easy. I just hooked it up today and I will write another review after I have been using for a month -
makes dosing easy By Andy C on 4/8/13
Andy C would recommend this product to a friendI've been running this system for about three weeks and things are slowly coming into balance. I had high calcium and low alk so I'm looking forward to being able to keep things balanced without dosing by hand. The instructions were veyr clear and it was very easy to get the system set up. -

A No Brainer! By The Reef Spot on 3/2/13
The Reef Spot would recommend this product to a friendIf you keep SPS, You need this.
It is a No Brainer. As with any other branded BRS product, the performance is over the top. Complete with instructions so clear, my 5 year old could set these up. -
great product at a great price By Mike on 2/5/13
Mike would recommend this product to a friendI bought this dosing kit to replace daily dosing. The pumps are easy to install but the cups they say to use for calibration are pretty much useless. measures in 10 ml increments. didn't matter though, it dosed roughly what it said it would. the brs online calculator seems pretty accurate. the amount of mix you get with the 1 gallon mix is awesome. for the price you pay for it you will get what appears to be 4 x the amount of the premixed you would buy. mixing the chemicals is dead easy and mixes well. looking forward to seeing the long term results of the brs 2 part. -
Great Product from a Great Company By Dolmo5000 on 1/10/13
Dolmo5000 would recommend this product to a friendI'm running an 80g total system with mostly sps and clams. This package was exactly what my tank needed. The stability it provides amazing. All corals and clams are growing and thriving like never before. I'll keep running the BRS dosing system for as long as possible . It wont be a happy day when I have to change to a cal reactor. GREAT GREAT GREAT DEAL -
Great!!!! By James on 11/28/12
James would recommend this product to a friendOrder this a few weeks ago. Have it connected to a Reef Keeper Lite/PC4 relay sockets and dosing what I need to keep my params in check. Great, simple to mix and use. And with the calculators on the site takes the guess work out of figuring out how much. Which was one of things I hated with other products. Well be using this from now on. -
All u need By Rob on 10/3/12

Do you ship this to Canada?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Alex,
Yes it is not a problem to have this shipped to Canada. The only things we can't ship to Canada are foods and most of the types of Rock. -

can I use this on a 16 gallon AIO? I am currently dosing ESV manually, is BRS mixture equivalent?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Jeffrey,
You sure can. I would suggest getting the small package as even that is going to last quiet a while in a tank that small! -

Hi , I already have 1 Gallon BRS Bulk Magnesium Chloride and 1 Gallon BRS Bulk Magnesium Sulfate what kit do I need for ALK and CA dosing? I also have 1 of your dosing pumps so I may need another one? Thanks for your advice.
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Claudio,
Great question. All you need in order to add Calcium and Alkalinity to the process would be a container of calcium chloride and a container of soda ash. You mix each up with water to make a calcium solution and an alkalinity solution (like your magnesium solution). A 1 gallon container of each should be a good start.

Each doser is capable of dosing one solution. You would need a total of 3 to dose all of the above, or 2 if you just want to automate the calcium and alkalinity, so I would suggest picking up one more doser so that you can automate them both :-)

The dosers come with a clear hose and a white hose. What's the difference, if any?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Brian,
The softer hose is easier to route, but also easier to kink. The more rigid hose on the other hand doesn't kink as easy but is a bit stiffer to work with. Use whichever works best for your routing and application :-)
The 2 Part Calcium & Alkalinity Total Package with Dosers includes everything you need to make your own 2 Part Solution and begin dosing. Simply measure the dry material with a household measuring cup and mix with water in the included gallon jugs. This kit will help maintain Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium parameters in the tank in easy once a day doses. It also makes it easy by automating the 2 Part Solution using a dosing pump to make your daily additions. Your corals will be healthier and grow faster.
Each Kit Includes:
- 2 BRS 2 Part Dosers 1.1 mL per minute
- ½ or 1 gallon of Calcium
- ½ or 1 gallon of Alkalinity
- ½ or 1 gallon of Magnesium Chloride
- ½ or 1 gallon of Magnesium Sulfate
- 3 clear PVC 1 gallon jugs with caps
- (2) 1 ounce dispensing pumps
- (2) 100 mL cups for measuring liquid solution
- 1 Funnel
- Directions
BRS 2 Part Dosers are ideal for automating 2 Part dosing. Our peristaltic pump has an extremely accurate 1.1mL per minute flow rate. Silent operation. The pump utilizes a unique system that attaches the drive shaft at the bottom and top to eliminate shaft wobble. Precision two roller design extends pump life and will not back siphon. Not for continuous use.
Use the BRS Reef Calculator to calculate dosage amounts. For more information on how to use the 2 Part Solution click here.
