I have well water with a fairly high TDS, and these filters don't slow down hardly at all once they start to become saturated. Very pleased with these and will continue to order them. -

Alfred would recommend this product to a friendIf you have a good sediment filter, then I prefer having this 1 Micron version carbon filter over the 5 Micron version. If your unit has two carbon units, then put this one right after the 5 Micron MatrikX. BTW, for a filter that works this well, getting from BRS is a no-brainer. And that's considering I actually import these things to the Philippines! The price here in BRS is simply great! -

Alfred would recommend this product to a friendSince most RO/DI units already have a pre-filter (sediment filter), if the sediment filter is doing a good job, then I would recommend the 1 Micron version more. HOWEVER, if you have two carbon filters, then this works fantastically well in conjunction with the 1 Micron (i.e., Sediment -> 5 Micron Carbon -> 1 Micron Carbon -> RO -> DI). -
