great build quality By williewilliams on 1/28/2015williewilliams would recommend this product to a friendIts a work of art. All my equipment is vertex. Stunning to look at and a breeze to use. Only issue is pump is under sized only can run around 180gph through it. Needs to go up to 300gph to run a full 3L of rocks. But i run 2L of rocks so its fine for me. I fully endorse this product.
Outsdanding By Leicguy on 11/25/2014Leicguy would recommend this product to a friendbe amazed at this piece of art!
I also use their skimmer, and with CZ carbon
be amazed !!!!
great quality but pump is too weak. By mos90 on 10/3/2013mos90 would recommend this product to a friendi have had this unit for about 2 months using 3l of zeolites. the flow for that amount needs to be around 300gph at the outlet. turned all the way up im getting about 1/2 that amount, about 150gph. i will have to find a stronger pump that will work with it.
other then that it is a very nice unit but with the stock pump it is only good for a 2 liters of zeolite.
The Vertex Zeovit reactor is at the top of the class! By BamaPete on 3/19/2013BamaPete would recommend this product to a friendAfter receiving my new Vertex Zeovit reactor, I was impressed before I could even open the packing. If you have ever purched any high end product, the packing is always impressive, and Vertex has met that mark. After opening the reactor I instantly knew it was top shelf merchandise. There was no corners cut, from the awesome welding work, to the unions that make cleaning so simple, to the Ehime pump that's mated to it, the reactor is amazing. If there is a draw back, the holes in the reactor seems larger than some of the zeovit that comes in the pack.
All in all I could not be happier, not to mention how cool this thing looks, if your a equipment freek like me, this reactor is for you. Now all I've got to do is figure out these little blue bottles.

Ask a question
great question, Typically with Zeovit you with use 1 liter container per 100 gallons. this particular unit has the specs:
Holds 3 liter of media / ~100 US-fl. Oz
Total height; 590mm / ~23”
Chamber diameter; 150mm / ~6”
Foot-Print; 230mm * 170mm / ~9” * 6.7”
How much clearance would you need inside the stand to be able to pump the reactor comfortably? Trying to figure out what stand size i need.
Great question! The total height is about 23". We recommend about 6-8" more to compensate for your hand and for the pumping motion.
The zeovit reactor unfortunately must sit in the sump. Any of the other type of reactors you would be good. To be honest I don't think I have seen a zeovit reactor that can be placed external.
