The Neptune Systems EnergyBar 832 is 100% compatible with the ApexEL, with more robust outlets, individual LEDs show the status of each outlet, per outlet power consumption monitoring. An added bonus to the EB832 is the addition of 1Link ports for accessories like the DOS and WAV pump that can now connect directly to the EnergyBar 832 saving room and eliminate messy cords keeping your tank's equipment looking perfect.
The Trident is an automated testing system that regularly tests alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium in your saltwater aquarium — and then communicates this information to your Apex so you can get alerts, and change your dosing. When combined with the DOS (available separately) it creates a fully automated system for the proper dosing of supplements, maintaining them at consistent levels. The included 2-month reagent kit means that you are set for the first month and a half after the initial calibration of the trident, and replacement reagents are very reasonably priced.
