  1. These work great & Easy Fix to Tight Holes.
    Performance
    100%
I have read a lot of reviews and agree that the holes are too small for whatever reason. If you use a Unibit Drill bit and go 1-2 steps down on the bit these racks are more universal. You must go slow and not press on the rack or bit when drilling or you will crack it. I have cracked a few. I have owned about 10 of these throughout the years and noticed 1 from about 8 years ago the inside magnet did start to corrode; I can not blame the company for this as rough cleaning or storage at some point may have led to a slight crack in the magnet's casing. Overall these are great and I have held quite a bit on them with no problems. Also; if you do find the magnets to be too weak and have an old magnet glass cleaner those work great!

  2. Worst Frag Rack Ever
    Performance

Standard frags do not fit. Magnets are weak. Their own plugs are super light and do not stay on the frag rack. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money on this piece of crap.

I am so disappointed with this product that I decided to write this review. I will just return it.

  3. Terrible

I would absolutely not recommend this rack. The holes are too small for standard frag plugs and the magnets suck. This rack will not hold more than a few “large” frags, the magnets give out and your frags end up in the sand.

  4. Standard frag plugs do not fit

Important to note that standard frag plugs do not fit in this holder. If you want to use standard frag plugs you need to drill out holes with 1/2 inch bit, be careful as the plastic can break when drilled.

  5. Not good for a tank with a lot of flow

I bit dissapointed in this. While it looks great and the quiality is nice, the usefulness is limited. The magnets cannot hold much weight. I do not think it could hold 23 frags without it falling over. The two frag plugs it comes with are too light for a frag plug. My softy coral frags quickly went flying around the tank only to land on another coral or in a corner where I couldn't reach.
I have never used a frag rack so I do not know if the next comment is normal for a frag rack. Debris and sand particles wedge easily between the rack and the glass, making an awful nails on chalkboard noise. Luckily I stopped before any scratches were made. If the frag plugs were a bit heavier I would not have a problem with the rack as much either.

Nice sturdy rack, looks good BUT, None of my frags fit. They give you 2 acrylic plugs that do fit. Not useful when buying frags unless they use the Eshopps frag plugs

  7. Needs more powerful magnets
    Performance

Purchased this to get my frags off the sand bed. What I discovered was two separate issues. 1) I had to file down some of my frag plugs so they would fit into the holes. 2) The supplies magnets were not strong enough the hold this in place. I woke up one morning with my frag rack on the bottom and a broken Acan :-( I used the magnets from my cleaner and they did the job. The rack itself is sturdy. Just needs some fine tuning.

This frag rack is great but the description needs to mention that most frag plugs do NOT fit! You must buy their acrylic plugs. Out of 21 frags only 3 actually fit.. so not I have to buy their plugs remove all my frags and re frag onto their plug.. other than that im very happy with this rack. Im currently using it on a 40 breeder and the magnets are increadibly strong. You can even slide the rack around with just the magnets on the outside of tank.
