EcoTech the Leader
I have 2 MP 40’s, 2 MP 10’s and 1 MP 60 on my 160 gallon. They have been running for 4 years with biannual cleaning with my fish only system. No problems at all. With my BRS Shadow 16” overflow, my tank is almost too quiet. Yes, there are less expensive products but how many times have you ended up wasting money when you could have saved a few dollars from the start if you began with a superior product. Salt tanks are expensive but the hardware part pays off in the long run with healthy expensive fish and corals. Ecotech without question. They do their homework.
Best pump on the market, excellent customer service.
I've got two of these on a 300 gallon aquarium from Custom Aquariums. It is an 8' wide tank and have one on each end. They work great and are connected to a Reeflink. I will probably hook up to the Apex soon though. Well worth the cost for the flow!
I've used one for a couple years and they are brilliant/bulletproof. Those who've had trouble... I dunno, but mine is a brilliant, beautiful, and flawless piece of reefing kit.
Had the controller go out on one after 4 months and ordered a spare. It would not work out of the box. Contacted ecotech and awaiting resolution which will determine final overall rating
So it works incredible and is extremely quiet. Only negative that I see so far is price but by eliminating all the wires from my tank was worth it.
worth the money
Broke after 1.5 yr
Garbage. Bought two. Although they worked decently in the beginning, they had constant issues. Do not run reliably. Stopped working altogether after 1.5 yrs. Would not buy. Would not recommend. Very disappointed.
The lack of noise this pump makes compared to the power it has blows my mind. This is the coolest aquarium purchase I have ever made. I have a single mp60 on a 220 gal tank for the time being but so far it is enough.
