You Need this for your Aquascaping
I bought a couple pounds of this "Rubble" on a whim thinking I might score an interesting small piece or two that I could use on my project. But I should have gotten more! this stuff was perfect for gluing in places where I had cemented rock together with E Marco to blend in these areas to look like it was one amazing rock. I also used these rubble pieces to make interesting shapes, overhangs and places where I could place coral later on the main structure of the aquascaping. This blends in so well and easy with the reef saver rock when you super glue it that you cant even tell that its not a part of the original main rock! I used all two pound on a 20 pound aquascape and I wished I had bought another pound or two by the time I was almost finished with my aquascaping. I dont want have to take a really nice larger rock and bash it with a hammer to get this stuff making a huge mess and pieces flying every where. This is much more convienent and the variety of shapes you get you couldnt get by just breaking up rock. Buy what you think youll need then buy a bit more you ll find a place to stick it, glue it or place it! Great stuff! Yes its probably the floor sweepings from next to the BRS rock pile and it is very small chunks / rubble but thats what makes it awesome.
Decent sized pieces that should make for excellent frag growouts.
These are great.
I don’t understand the bad reviews it’s exactly what’s advertised. I got some little 1-2” rocks and one that is 7x5” across looks like a shelf rock and every thing in between. It will not make a scape but can easily fill in those awkward spots and add more texture and variety to your scape.
Prety much just like the pictures.
Good selection of various kinds of rubble. I even got two fat branches. They should take a random pull of rubble and take an updated picture. Its rubble, not big fancy pieces. Fills in cracks to make odd rocks seamless and frags grow better on a cured piece of rubble better than a frag plug. I made two 8"x8"x15" (aprox) baskets out of eggcrate light diffuser material and filled them with rubble. These seperated my sump so the water has to flow through them. Been working great for years. I pull old pieces for frags and add more to the basket when the rubble gets below the water level. A little expensive for rubble, otherwise 5 stars.
The picture isnt what they ship
The picture shows natural rock (old coral skeletons like Fiji dry rock). What they actually ship is some kind of artificial product, that appears to be made from limestone sand. Completely misleading picture.
