  • Great Product By on 5/14/2017

I have had this pump running on my 190 DSA Pro Reef Tank for 2 years now, not a singe problem, I do not have the vibration of others claim, great flow all the time, I have a 4 valve manifold off of it 3/4" works great, inside my stand 12 ft away I can barely hear my tank, very quiet IMO. slight fan hum, other than that, I hear water trickle more than the pump, never took it out to clean either other than the check valve.
  • Good flow for price, but loud By on 12/19/2016

This pump is a great value. It is very useful for basement sumps, where you need the extra head height.

I have a 90 gallon sump and a 210 gallon display tank. I needed to push the water up ~11ft. and horizontally ~25ft. The flow is great. I have it throttled back a bit, and it is still a strong flow. The pump itself runs very cool with the built in fan.

The only flaw I see is that it does vibrate significantly. Even with a yoga mat below it, I can feel faint vibrations through the floor above. I definitely would not want this anywhere, but in the basement or garage. I may even build a box around it to dampen the sound of the fan as well.
  • Great flow a little loud By on 4/16/2015

I bought this pump for a 180 gallon reef set up. I was trying to get away with a Jebao internal 1200 and just was not getting the amount of flow that I wanted. I got the Pan world and am very happy with it. I have it opened up all the way and it is returning two 1.5 inch drains perfectly without adjustment. (sump setup with only about 4 ft head) It is a little loud though. I have my tank out in the garage right now (Leak testing) a little worried about how loud it is going to be once I move it inside. I also have it on a 1 inch Styrofoam pad to reduce vibration and noise but it still is pretty loud. My stand is open, so maybe with a closed stand where the sound is blocked inside a cabinet it would be okay.
Overall I am happy with the pump
  • Ps 200 Panworld hits hard! By on 11/10/2013

I have a 300 gallon FO marine tank which had a little giant 4 series pressure pump. The lil giant was rated for 800 gph, but i have 12 feet of head going up to the top of the 6ft tall tank. Real flow was prolly 700 gph. I have 2 inch overflow pipe so it can handle 2000gph or so.

I swap out the giant for the ps 200. Wow major flow increase, it sucked the sump so low it sucked in air causing. Bubble storm in the tank. I had to turn the ball valve 1/2 way shut to contain the beast. After adding 10 gallon of water to the sump i could run it full blast. Love it! Btw that lil giant ran since 2006 no issues or maint. Hope this is as good. 8 years 24/7 lil giants are reliable
  • Does What I Intended It To Do By on 6/21/2013

I bought this pump to deliver R/O water from my basement up to my first floor. I have a 13 course basement and two 30 gallon containers at the opposite end of the basement. This pump drives the water up 13 courses and across the basement about 60 feet before it reaches the aquarium. The output at the aquarium end is about 3 gallons per minute, which is sufficient to fill my 7 gallon ATO and for water changes. The only thing that I wish is that this pump was self priming.
  • Too much pump, wrong data from BRS. By on 4/21/2013

Called BRS to ask which model to select. I went with this pump because BRS claimed it operates on 150 watts. Wrong! Try 290 watts!! Not even in the same ballpark. The pump runs well, but its twice the pump I need and it consumes tons of energy. It's working well, but I wish BRS got this data correct because if they had I would have bought the 150. This is the first and only disappointment I've had with BRS. :(
  • Good quality pump By on 4/18/2013

I brought this 4 months ago and they are good sturdy and seems like they will last a long time. 2 year parts and labor warranty is certainly helpful.
    Best bang for the buck.
  • best pump for pressure By on 4/4/2013

I bought this pump for a very restrictive setup, Basically a 1" line feeding 8 half inch lines so i was needing a lot of pressure and flow.
It didn't quite give me the power i hoped for with it, but it was acceptable. I tried the reeflo tiger shark and it was too much power, so i tried the reeflo dart/snapper hybrid. It was completely silent but had less water under pressure than the panworld.
I have since ordered another panworld 200 which i will split the 8 lines in 2 and run 4 on each pump. That will be more than i need but nice to have the ability to crank up the flow when needed for cleaning.
It is a very cool running pump, don't let it suck any air though or it will get so hot it may shut itself off.
It is also very quiet., it would be suitable for setup in the house no problem without a bothersome noise level.
  • Reliable and Quiet By on 9/1/2012

This pump has never once had any issues. Runs extremely quiet. Been running it for two years now and there is no sign of rust, or lose of power. Also the extension cord length is extremely generous.
  • Great Pump By on 8/7/2012

I have this pump running my 90G in my living room and the sump and pump are in the basement. Never a problem with the distance or anything. Very quiet and efficient. I would definitely recommend this pump.
