  • It kills them dead!! By on 10/18/2017

Excellent product ... If you see one Aptasia ... trust me you'll see more . Keep some Aptasia X on hand and target and kill them no matter how small . No effect on fish or corals , however try to keep it off mushrooms .. they don't seem to like it at all .
  • It kicks it out By on 9/26/2017

I treated my outbreak and RED SEA AIPTASIA-X is easy to apply and it never comes back. It has been several weeks. I even purchased a larger bottle for later. Didn't harm my tank or fish. A good buy.

Don't waste your money on this one. Does not work.
  • Works with patience! By on 5/17/2017

I had one aiptasia and figured: I'll get to it when I get to it. Then I saw they started multiplying like crazy. I put in a couple of Peppermint Shrimp, but the aiptasia continued to multiply. I used Aiptasia X, and it killed every single aiptasia that I targeted. The key is to keep an eye on the tank, and do subsequent treatments quickly. Overall I think I did about 4 or 5 treatments within a month. The first treatment I probably killed about 20~30. The subsequent treatments were a handful at a time. Every treatment I targeted every aiptasia that I knew of. With this, in addition to the two peppermint shrimp, I have not seen a single aiptasia in over two months. I personally love that it's a targeted application, and not some type of "nuke" that I just drop in the tank and hope for the best.
  • Works but need frequent treatments By on 4/23/2017

Aiptasias go away, but seems to be only a matter of time before they return. I've found that using Aiptasia-X plus peppermint shrimps may be the combo that has seemed to keep the spread of aiptasia from taking over my tank. Regardless, I'd still recommend this product for pest aiptasia removal. It works, but repeat applications are necessary and/or use this in combo with other aiptasia removal methods to get a handle on these pests.
  • Awesome product By on 4/15/2017

I've tried injecting boiling water and vinegar and peppermint shrimp! Nothing worked like aiptasia x! Nearly instant, very easy to do and none of the extra bothers my fish! Great stuff!
  • Works Great By on 3/20/2017

I just used this on aiptasia yesterday and worked really well. I was a little skeptical before using this, but I put it on the first aiptasia and it wrapped itself around aiptasia-x and basically melted within a few minutes. The aiptasia took it and didn't suck back into the rock. I highly recommend.
  • So far so good By on 2/7/2017

My aiptasia problem so far has only been two anemones so not a very useful review here. One came in on a Trochus snail which I removed and scraped off and one I found on the rockwork about a month later which I used the aiptasia x on. That one definitely died as claimed and I'm hoping it wasn't able to reproduce. That was two + weeks ago so too soon to tell.
  • Works as Advertised By on 1/23/2017

30 gal tank. Treated about 20 Aiptasia and have lots leftover for future treatments. Goal is control versus eradication. Did not hurt my fish or other soft corals. I'm very pleased with this product. Two thumbs up
  • Kills Aiptasia, but it always comes back By on 1/3/2017

I have tried to treat anemones upwards of 3 times in my tank with the same exact result: they come back with vigor. I think it's these types of products on the market that qualify for "snake oil" category as there are people who write that it works where clearly they must have the same issue that I have been having. I don't believe this product is any more effective than anything else that I used including kalk paste.
