  • Great reactor By on 9/15/2017

My wife bought the double a few years ago from BRS and it works perfect so I thought I would buy the single and use it as a media tumbler in my 60 gallon nano. It also works perfectly.
  • Bracket flimsy By on 9/10/2017

The mounting bracket is super flimsy. Added this along side my BRS Dual Carbon and GFO as a Bio reactor. The single Reactor bracket is not as deep dimension as the Dual reactor bracket.
So even side by side the canisters do not line up.
I may opt for a metal bracket on this unit in the future.
  • Great product By on 9/10/2017

Easy to assemble. Works well with carbon or gfo. Can control the flow with valve.
  • Very Good Product By on 8/11/2017

ALways had difficulty changing the contents of the "2 Little....." brand. Not so with this one! Cleaning and changing granules is much easier!
  • It works fine By on 3/2/2017

I haven't had any trouble with it, running carbon and gfo in it since Christmas. My sister in law got me the hook up on this. You so have to make 100 percent sure the carbon and gfo are mixed well, buy that's not the reactor. Imo the system works great.
  • Clogs By on 1/27/2017

Its a good concept, but it does clog pretty quickly. For the first week or so you have to monitor the water flow and clean if necessary.
  • Carbon Reactor By on 1/8/2017

I needed to mod Reactor it clogs pretty quickly. need to cut the bottom slot plastic for more flow
  • A simple reactor By on 10/30/2016

This reactor includes just about everything you'll need hoses coupling, valve, and of course the reactor. everything included is of great quality, and I didn't think twice about buying from BRS.
  • Works a lot better than other name brand reactors By on 10/22/2016

Been up and running for two weeks now and I am impressed. Had other "popular" reactors that began to leak after 1 year. Only advice is to ensure you cut the tubing straight and ensure it is pushed all the way in. I also had a leak from the elbows as well after the initial install which was alleviated after I cut the tubing straight and pushed the tubing in as far as it would go!
