Product Questions

I recently purchased this sump and its all setup under my aquarium. The one thing I'm struggling with is the sump water height vs the float switched to activate the fleece roll motor. While the floats ARE adjustable, even when they are set to their lowest point, they are very high up. So, I need to run a ton of water in the sump to get even close to the height of the floats. I currently have 10 inches of water in the sump, its still not near the float, and my Maxspect skimmer is not happy about all the water. =)

Any advice?

Thanks!!

Hey there,
Thank you for reaching out to us. The water only needs to reach the float once it is time to advance the roller. Ones the filter material is dirty, it will clog and the water will naturally rise as it cannot get through the material. You do not need to raise the water yourself.

Please let me know if you need anything further and take care!
