O Billy By Rogers on 12/16/2016Rogers would recommend this product to a friendThis product works great! Absolutely no complaints! No algae no dirty stand and the water is crystal clear! I am 5' 5" and about 160 and find it really easy to pump the reactor. Billy do some pushups and man up!

Big disappointment. By Billy on 8/1/2014Billy wouldn't recommend this product to a friendAfter receiving this package, I decided to immediately return it. The vertex reactor was missing not only the eheim pump, but critical plumbing components.
Aside from that, the biggest reason for my dissatisfaction is that with the zeovit system, you must pump the reactor a couple times a day. This is very difficult if not impossible with this reactor, as it is so difficult to pump that it would make daily action burdensome. I am 6'4" tall and fairly strong and have a long reach, and the task was still uncomfortable and not something I was happy doing even once, much less twice daily continuing forward.
I would highly recommend not being cheap, and ordering the same system with the korallen-zucht reactor. Reef keeping isn't a cheap hobby, always remember that. Or you can save a few bucks and waste your time with this reactor.
On a side note, BRS was helpful as always in assisting with the return.
Awsome By Brandon on 11/14/2013Brandon would recommend this product to a friendGreat package. It includes everything you need to start the zeovit system including the "basic 4".
Ask a question
1 liter of media will be needed for 100 gallons of water volume. In this case a minimum of the 2.0 liter will be required with ideally the 3.0 liter for enough room to mix the zeolite media. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
Zeovit media will be around 1 liter per 100 gallons. Anything around 175 and under will use the 2 liter, 275 and under can use the 3 liter.
