  • Poor construction By Carson on 7/30/2017

Build quality is meh, even considering its a budget skimmer. Its made of out acrylic and all the parts slide into channels with no sort of locking mechanism. Because the thin acrylic flexes easily this makes handling the skimmer for installation difficult. It will fall apart in your tank if you handle it without the most delicate of care. But once its in your tank its set and seems to operate how you would expect a skimmer to work.

Product Questions

Will this fit well in the back chamber of a Red Sea Max 130d 34 gallon reef?
Question by: Chris on May 12, 2016 8:56:00 PM
great question!
We are unaware of the exact back chamber on your tank however as long as the area can house 3.9" x 4.3" x 17.7" this will work great!
