  • Great way to upgrade your RO or RODI By Madmax on 4/27/2016

I used this product to upsize my DI capacity from a top mount to a canister. Worked exactly like I planned. Now I can hold more DI resin and I can watch the color change to know when its exhausted
  • Great Add-on for any RO/DI By J.Engelbrecht on 2/28/2016

I upgraded my 4 stage Kent Marine Hi-Si unit and the results are great. I added this DI cartridge onto the end and added an extra carbon filter on in the middle.
  • easy By zakdigital on 2/15/2016

This stage, in my case, was a plug-n-play addition to a 6 stage drinking water kit to give me that peace of mind I get knowing I will never go above 0 TDS.

Packed well and ready to go.

My next item on the perfect water wish list is the auto flush valve!
  • Great TDS ,but By Mac on 1/24/2016

Added to my RO system to obtain 0 TDS. That worked great. Problem was with the canister leaking. Had to tighten with spanner wrench to the point of almost pulling the screws out of the wall. BFS did send me a new o-ring. While replacing the o-ring, I saw that the mating surface was not smooth, especially at the forming seam. I filed that smooth and had no leaks just hand tighten. Quality control needs improvement.
  • canister it By littleman on 11/30/2015

Brs equipment is excellent. Talk about quality and price it's in the canister. I bought a extra di canister for my brs rodi system to make sure my water is crystal clear, easy to add on.want clean and clear.all i got to say it's all in the canister .
  • Works great By Lukas on 10/25/2015

I needed a second DI canister to squeeze the most out of my DI resin, this works beautifully. Just plug in your blue line and good to go.
  • Single Deionization Canister By chuck on 9/10/2015

I really like it! I now have 1 canister to fill, rather than the 2 smaller ones I had before. It came filled with the deionization resin, that was very nice. Thanks BRS
  • Perfect By Joshua on 7/22/2015

love having the second canister on my 4 stage as then when first is exhausted i can simply switch the 2nd one to the first location and refill the canister that was in the first spot and put in the second one that way im fully using up all di resin and getting more life out of it...far better than i was expecting on life of resin after i added 2nd canister

Hi every one is telling me i should run a dual di. Set up my ? Is what will i benafit from adding another di. To my system if im allready at 0ppm tds no one has been able to tell me. Thanks in advance for the advice
Question by: Nathan on Feb 27, 2014 5:16:00 PM
Hi Nathan,
Running a dual DI will not make your water any cleaner as a single DI will bring it down to 0 TDS. What the second DI chamber does is allow you to get a bit more out of your DI resin.

For example, if you have 5 tds going into your DI resin you should have 0 coming out. When that goes up to 1, its time to change your DI resin out even though technically its not fully exhausted (its still removing 4 of the 5 TDS). A dual DI allows you to fully exhaust that resin and the second DI filters out the 1-5 TDS that gets through. That way your still putting 0 TDS in the tank while fully exhausting your first cartridge.

Will this work with a GE RO model # GXRM10RBL01
Question by: Toni Holley on Mar 20, 2016 2:23:00 PM
Great question!
This certainly can work with many units as long as the tubing from your current unit is 1/4". Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
Answer by: Connor (Admin) on Mar 21, 2016 6:16:00 PM
I have your 4 stage plus system. I was thinking of adding this as a 2nd DI since my single di only made about 100 gallons of di before changing colors completely. Will this help? And will I have to change anything with the TDS Meter if I get second canister?
Question by: DAVID LACEY on Feb 19, 2017 7:34:00 PM
Hey there! An additional DI canister will help you go longer between DI changes, but at the same consumption rate. Although you still see the single canister exhaust after about 100gallons, with a secondary cartridge you should be able to go through 200gal until both are exhausted. :-)

Question by: Tj spyrka on Mar 24, 2016 3:14:00 PM

This can be used on any RO unit as long as the unit has 1/4" tubing and ports to connect to. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

I recently purchased the refill for this canister, and I'm having trouble getting it open to empty/refill there a trick to it, or is it just REALLY sealed on there?
Question by: Joshua Kight on Jan 22, 2016 2:36:00 PM
Great question,
The O-rings will be very tight after pressure and use, It will take the filter wrench and some elbow grease. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

I have a value plus system I believe with the 150 upgrade. Was wondering if there is a bracket to attach this to my existing system thanks
Question by: Brandon on Oct 8, 2017 11:57:00 AM
Hey there,
Thanks for getting in touch with us in regards to adding this canister onto your current system. We do not sell a bracket that allows for mounting four canisters yet, but what we do here to accomplish this is mount them close together side by side, which still gives a good aesthetic appeal. Please let me know if there is anything else that we can assist with. Thanks!

Does this come with the color changing DI resin or normal resin?
Question by: Kelly on Oct 19, 2013 11:46:00 AM
Hey Kelly,
All of our DI's come with the color changing resin.

Is it normal for the canister to be filled with air instead of water once up and running?
Question by: Matt on Jan 27, 2014 11:52:00 AM
Hi Matt,
Perfectly normal and the way it should be. DI canisters work on an upflow principle compared to the radial flow of the other filters so the air is just a bubble that can't escape, nothing to worry about!
Answer by: Bulk Reef Supply on Jan 27, 2014 11:52:00 AM
At which point do i add the DI to my existing RO filters. Is it after the membrain, or after the third canister?
Question by: Brian on Jan 31, 2014 9:03:00 AM
Hi Brian,
A DI resin filter would be the last filter in the set, so after the membrane the last stop before your water goes to your storage container.
