The Aquatec pressure switch is used to shut down the pump when the switch detects pressure build up caused from your holding container becoming full. Most often triggered with a float valve
Your system must have a working auto shut off kit for this switch to work properly.
- ¼” Push Connect fittings
- Preset at 40 PSI
- Adjustable (30-60) PSI "trigger point" for application specific shut off pressure

Perfect! By StarFishMan on 2/27/2015StarFishMan would recommend this product to a friendThis works exceptionally well with the Booster pump, float, and auto flush.
NOTE!! When my system was pegging the pressure gauge at over 105 pounds I was concerned. In fact I unplugged the pump thinking something was wrong. It was not shutting the pump down until there was what I would call an inordinate amount of pressure. SOLUTION:
There is a tiny 0.050 inch Allen key screw that provides adjustment. After I back it off about 1/2 a turn the pump was shut down much sooner. That was just the ticket! There was no document and I didn't see this in the videos. Just pointing it out!
Another great product I am happy with.
Great Product By Mark on 1/16/2015Mark would recommend this product to a friendI decided to upgrade my booster pump system. And as always, Aquatec products work perfect. This switch does its job quickly. Easy set up and simple plug and play connections.
nice pressure switch By Pegasus on 1/6/2015Pegasus would recommend this product to a friendI needed to replace a bad pressure switch for my 24V DC pump, but I wasn't sure if this switch would work since the Aquatec pump that it's typically sold with is 24V AC. I figured since it was simply an on/off switch with no electronics involved, it would probably work. It did, and that makes life a lot easier for me since I no longer have to turn it on and off manually every time I need water. That's no fun when my ATO is in my basement. This switch should work with any pressure pump, AC or DC.
Works Great By Charles on 3/2/2014Charles would recommend this product to a friendWorks with other brands well.
Works great! By Bill on 12/18/2013Bill would recommend this product to a friendNice addition to your RO system. Easy to install and it works great. Combined with my new booster pump I'm actually getting the amount of RO water my unit is rated at.
Works perfectly as intended By Pen3 on 11/27/2013Pen3 would recommend this product to a friendI actually have a different brand booster pump, but my pressure switch died and i wasn't sure how this one would work on other brands. I took the bullet and ordered one to test and it works even better than my old one made for the pump. It works just fine right out of the box, but i fine tuned it slightly by lowering the pressure screw for my liking.
Does it job By Joel on 5/3/2013Joel would recommend this product to a friendLove this switch. When I shut off my ball valve on the outlet, pressure builds for about 5 seconds, then *click*... booster pump shuts off. As soon as I reopen my outlet clicks the pump back on immediately. Handy little part.
great value By Andy on 2/19/2012Andy would recommend this product to a friendi wouldn't no what to do with out this pressure switch great way to control you booster pump
Ask a question
The switch does have a time and pressure delay on the system. The pressure will lower enough from the tank to force more water in which will cause the booster pump to fill however not after every glass. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
The switch cuts out when the product water reaches 40psi. The only time that would happen is when your float valve is up, anytime you are making water the product water side will be about 0psi :)
This pressure switch doesn't plug directly into a power outlet. The pressure switch interfaces between the booster pump and the booster pump power supply.
I am sorry to hear about the pressure switch on your unit acting up. Please feel free to send our Customer Service an Email or Phone call and we will be more than willing to help resolve the issue!
