Benefits of maintaining higher water pressures
- Improved waste water ratio
- Improved membrane rejection performance
- Reduced DI resin consumption
Aquatec 8800 Booster Pump Features:
- ¼” Push Connect fittings
- Patented "flex-mount" base plate significantly dampens vibrations and reduces noise
- Adjustable pressure
Note: Aquatec 8800 Booster Pumps do require a minimum of 20 PSI to operate. Not having proper pressure feeding the booster pump will cause poor performance, and void the warranty.
Worth every penny By Steven on 10/1/2017Steven would recommend this product to a friendMy home water pressure runs at 40psi to 45psi. I have a 75gpd unit and was lucky to get 1 1/2gph output. Using this to boost pressure, I am now making 3 to 4gph saving time and waste water.
No problems in 6 months of use. My mixing station is in the garage so the noise is not an issue for me. Great product.
works beautifully but is noisy By medtoad on 8/25/2017medtoad would recommend this product to a friendInstalled this upgrade with anadditionall insures membrane on my 320 system so as not to waste water and speed up making new RO water. Works beautifully and wasn't hard to install. Contrary to some of the reviews IT IS NOISY. I initially mounted on the wall in my back room which acted like a sounding board and the pump was audible through our entire large home. I've now suspended with strings from some very long screws and it is much quieter (though still audible in the office.) Speed of water manufacture is so quick now that it is not on for very long though
Glad I bought it By Matt on 8/23/2017Matt would recommend this product to a friendMy pressure is about 40 psi and I my BRS RODI 75 GPD was only putting out about 2 gallons an hour. With this and the 150 GPD upgrade I'm up to 12 gallons an hour. I was worried about the noise but it's not really noticeable more than a few feet away.
great product By Matthew on 12/10/2016Matthew would recommend this product to a friendGreat pump. the power supply lasted about 3 years and had to be replaced but the pump itself is still going like brand new. I have purchased 3 of these and all of them work great! They do sell the power supply separately so you don't have to buy the whole kit again; just the part needed.
Great pump By Luis on 10/8/2016Luis would recommend this product to a friendMy water output before the pump was 35psi. Once I installed the pump my psi jumped up to 83.
Increase output and reduce rejected water By Lawrence on 7/13/2016Lawrence wouldn't recommend this product to a friendBefore having the pump, the ratio between rejected water and RODI was 2 : 1, now it is 1 : 1.23. I'm very very happy.
It used to be 18 minutes to produce 1 gallon of RODI. Now 8 minutes!! WOW !!!
The pump increases the water pressure from 50 psi to 90 psi, and when I turn the faucet to wash my hands, the pressure just drops to 80 psi.
* When you order, make sure you buy the "glycerin filled pressure gauge". Otherwise you can't measure the performance!
* I built a wooden stand on the floor for it. If I mount on the wall, the vibration will make some noise.
Good little pump By James on 9/9/2015James would recommend this product to a friendIt's worked perfectly! It pushes 85psi so I backed it down to about 70psi. The pressure is rock solid. If someone takes a shower or does laundry.. 70psi, no change. It's pretty quiet too, for a pump. I like the springy rubber mounting feet. They definitely help suspend it and make it quieter.
AMAZING! By Callum Pickles on 8/17/2015Callum Pickles would recommend this product to a friendI'm on well water so the pressure was running about 35 PSI.. When I hooked up the water booster it was running about 85 PSI! Very happy with this product!!
works great By o2c5 on 4/26/2015o2c5 would recommend this product to a friendThis pump easily doubled my water pressure what a difference from before, I can prepare water much quicker and be ready for any kind of water related emergency
Perfect!!!! By tbisque on 2/16/2015tbisque would recommend this product to a friendDoes exactly what I hoped it would do. The water pressure for the RO/DI 6 stage unit is now throttled back to 80 pounds! This and the 150 gpd upgrade were will worth every penny. Now making almost 150 gallons/day and have very little was water about 1 gallon good 1 gallon bad!
It does what it's supposed to do. By Phil on 10/22/2014Phil would recommend this product to a friendI suspected my water pressure was low when after only about 60 gallons I burned through nearly 1/3rd of my DI resin. I purchased a BRS pressure gauge (SKU: 200215) and discovered that the pressure coming from under my sink where I connected my RODI system inline was around 45PSI. As we all know I need >60PSI for my 150GPD Upgraded RODI system to operate optimally. I purchased the booster pump and it did exactly what it was supposed to do! I set it up inline between my water source and my RODI unit, plugged in the power supply (SKU: 200201) and my water pressure went up from 44 to ~95. Not only did I see an increase in RODI production to the 175GPD (as expected), but I'm using less than HALF the DI resin I was before.
great product By Ralph on 10/15/2014Ralph would recommend this product to a friendI needed to boost my water pressure after installing the second RO kit and this is exactly what I needed. It took my pressure from 55 PSI to 90 PSI. Runs quiet and seems to be very well built. Another great product that they offer here.
Ask a question
This product is just the booster pump itself (more intended as a replacement part). The power supply is either sold separately or is also included in the kit.
Let say I want to run the whole system at 70psi. Does the pump automatically turn off at 70psi?
There is not a direct reset switch. If the power supply is correct and the pressure switch is functional the unit should run as long as the pressure switch is not off. I have included the contact information for Aquatec below.

This pump is only designed for boosting the existing pressure on residential water systems where freshwater is being moved through the lines. We would have to recommend something different such as a Sicce hobby pump, or something of that type if you are looking to move mixed saltwater.
A booster pump is best installed right before the whole unit.
