Add to your canopy with the Miro-4 T5 High Output Retrofit Kit from LET Lighting. Retrofit kits give you the flexibility to add T5 lamps virtually to any tank, while keeping a low overall cost. T5 lighting can either be the main light source or supplemental light to another light source like LED or metal halide. The overall spread and coverage of T5 HO lighting makes them really hard to beat.

  • Quiet, cool operation
  • Add to existing lighting, or as main light source
  • Flexible to many different applications
  • Easy to follow instructions

We really like the control and flexibility that T5 retrofit kits give. If you do not want to invest into a fixture, or you have a canopy that will not allow a properly sized fixture inside of it, retrofit kits are the way to go. They can be installed almost anywhere, and the color coded wiring harness makes wiring a breeze. LET includes high quality individual parabolic reflectors made from 96% German reflective aluminum allowing light to be evenly spread across your tank, virtually eliminating hot spots and shadows.

Product Questions

I’m new to t5 lighting. How do you install this light over the tank? Does it need a special fixture, or can you put this straight over the tank? How would you suggest mounting it.?.
Question by: Amanda Underwood on Feb 4, 2023, 11:15 PM
Thanks for the question! These will be a lot of DIY. You will want to install your own hanging kit to these to hang from the ceiling!

What is the total length of the 36 Inch module? I'm wondering if it would fit in a 37 inch space. Thanks!
Question by: Carlos Rodriguez on Feb 5, 2020, 10:45 PM
Hey there,

It is just a hair under 36" so it should be able to fit easily.

Take care

Can I use one power cord for 4 -6 T5, I would like to hide the cord and one would be easier.
Question by: Sal Limon on Jan 30, 2020, 10:07 PM
Hey there,

Each set of two bulbs or ballast would need to have its own power supply.

Take care

I have the 2ft variant of this fixture. After the install the lights turn on. Then off. Then on. Then they turn off and stay off. What does this mean. There were no clear instructions
Question by: Taber Davis on Jan 19, 2020, 6:45 PM
Hey there!

Often times when the fixture is flashing like that is because the wires are not fully inserted or do not have a good connection. I would check those and then give us a call if the issue persists!

Take care

what is the width of the reflector?
Question by: Joshua Hansen on Dec 6, 2017, 11:57 PM
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
The reflector width is about 2 inches. The kit is really. We used it on our BRS 160 and are really happy with it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello, Do the two bulbs have to be mounted side by side? Or can one be on one side of my canopy and the other be on the other side? Roughly they would be 15-18" apart. Thanks
Question by: Jacob McCann on Aug 2, 2016, 5:54 PM
Hi there,
With the LET Retrofit kits, you can decide where you want the bulbs. They do not need to be side by side since there is enough wire to create a 2-foot gap between the two bulbs if you wish to put a LED or MH light in the center creating a hybrid lighting system.
Thanks for the question and have a great day!
