Fish can't lie By Mark on 9/17/2018Mark wouldn't recommend this product to a friendFour pairs of clowns (ocellarus and maroon) aren't taking the bait. Only food they will pretty much refuse to eat and wait for me to give them something else. Reninds me of trying to sneak a pill in a dogs treat. Will likely end up feeding to koi babies. Size is small, I wouldn't call it soft, but you can crunch it with your fingers. Brittle or crunchy are probably better descriptions.
My clowns love the food, great coloration showing too! By Gary on 6/5/2017Gary would recommend this product to a friendI bought this food more my clownfish because it stated it was super soft and easy for the fish to digest. I was feeding my two clowns New spectrum life 1mm pellets before and when I feed both the clowns take all the fauna marine food first then the spectrum pellets.
The fauna marine pellets are very very soft which makes it great to not have to let the pellets soak in water before feedings. Most of the time the "pellets" (they look somewhat football shaped and fluffy) float on the surface but occasionally some sink. I have notice the white coloring of my whyoming whites to be more bright and the orange on their tails and face to become more noticeablly bright as well. I'm only about two weeks in on the feedings with this food but I will try and post a long term update.
FYI I feed 1-2 times a day usually about what they eat in a minute to 2 mins. Generally my clowns each eat about 5-10 pellets each time they are fed (they are about 1mm size as well!). Hope this helped!
