Kevin Gaines has over 40 years of experience in the saltwater aquarium hobby, and has worked in many segments of the reef aquarium industry. In 1992 Kevin began breeding fish and corals, and three years later started a commercial coral farm called Coral Reef Ranch.

Kevin was one of the founding members of the famous Oceans, Reef, and Aquariums or ORA for short, has worked as the VP at Piscine Energetics, and most recently has been working on his startup, Biota Aquariums.

Today Kevin comes to us from the Coral Restoration Foundation, where he serves on the board and volunteers his time.
