Great question, This is a standard AC pump and is not "controllable" it can be plugged into the apex outlet to turn it on or off. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

  • Pump is fine, but box was already opened and resealed. By Tyler on 12/12/2014

Good pump, but I'm pretty sure I received a return/open box and paid full price.
  • Great pump. By Gilorock on 12/7/2014

I replace my Eheim compack 5000 + with this pump, better flow lower pg&e bill. Pump looks very much like my Red Dragon skimmer pump very happy over all.
  • Quiet,good flow,expensive. By Ed on 5/31/2014

I just replaced my Mag 18 on 120 gallon twin overflow tank. Much quieter, virtually no vibrations vs Mag. Although rated for lower head pressure & lower gph, I can't see a major difference in flow thru the sump or tank. Heat and electricity should be significantly lower. I will update the temperature difference as summer is approaching.
