they r very helfpul little things By Awais on 4/18/13
Awais would recommend this product to a friendThese unseals are very helpful, esp for the small sizes, where you may not want to use a bulkhead, use these uniseals. They are great, I used them in my refuge when I drilled holes in them. I also used them in my DIY BP reactors.
They are easy to use and they do not leak, just make sure you drill the right size holes. -
Don't Be Skeptical... By JOHN on 4/17/13
JOHN would recommend this product to a friendThese have amazed me. I've used them on all kinds of things including rounded Brute trash containers. Not a single drop has leaked. Love them! -
Great value and easy to install By Adam on 3/20/13
Adam would recommend this product to a friendI installed two of the 1 1/2 inch seals into a 55 gallon garbage can being used for water storage. Inserting the 1 1/2 inch PVC did take a little effort but wasn't all that hard. Have been monitoring for leaks but seems to be sealed up good and tight. -
Uniseal By Scott B on 3/13/13
Scott B would recommend this product to a friendI just installed these on a 30 gallon container, and they worked slick. Very easy to use with no leaks. Anyone saying that they have had problems, probably did not use the correct hole saw, otherwise its easy as pie -
Very handy for D.I.Y. ers... By Ksig on 3/11/13
Ksig would recommend this product to a friendThis is a great peace of equipment, simple but very effective, and durable. If you're into plumbing or just a D.I.Y. er (lol) like I am it's a must you keep some of these in the tool box. -
great product By certaut on 2/24/13
certaut would recommend this product to a friendBeen using these for years, never failed me.
As far as using the larger pipe sizes I round off the flat end and use a ratchet tie-down strap to push it in -
Horrible By Steven on 1/26/13
Steven wouldn't recommend this product to a friendThis is the worst product I have ever purchased in my life. After several hours and multiple cuts and blisters I got 1 our of 10 on. They don't say in the examples that you need to cut off the end of the pipe to actually get pipe through the uni-seal. Even with that and pipe Lube it's almost physically impossible. I am a competition power lifter so I wouldn't say that I am weak, and the amount of muscle you need for these 2" seals is unbelievable. -
These work great! By Eric W on 1/2/13
Eric W would recommend this product to a friendI bought some 3/4" uni-seals for my RODI/WC station 15gallon plastic drums. These work flawlessly - no leaks and simple to install!

Great for RO-DI container By Jeremy on 10/24/12
Jeremy would recommend this product to a friendWhen first looking at this product I was a bit sceptical. Even after drilling the hole and inserting the fitting I was not sure if it would hold. After inserting the pipe into the fitting, there was no leaks. Very easy to install and works great. -
great product By evan on 9/9/12
evan would recommend this product to a friendworked good for my ro storage containers -
Work perfectly By Mike on 8/30/12
Mike would recommend this product to a friendEasy to use and works everytime. I've even been able to pull it out of the hole and re-use it. I didn't think that would work but the seal is holding just perfect. -
WORKS GREAT By Gerard on 8/19/12
Gerard would recommend this product to a friendOrdered these for my water change station. I was a bit skeptical upon first inspecting these, but they get the job done. No leaks what so ever.

Can these uniseals be used with nylon hose as opposed to pipe?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Will,
Good question. The uniseals would not form a tight seal with flex tubing, they are meant to be used with rigid pipe.

Will these work with schedule 40 as well? (I don't know if the outer edge of the pipe is the same size without Googling it. :)
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Nicholas,
It sure will. The outside diameter of sch80 and sch40 pvc pipe is the same :-) -
by Chris Willingham on August 1, 2012, @10:34 AM
What is the outside diameter of this product? (The edge to edge measurement of the seal after it is installed?)
Thanks-
ChrisBulk Reef Supply Hey Chris, edge to edge measures about 3.75"

I,m using a 3/4 inch pvc tubing. What uniseal works for this tubing?
Bulk Reef Supply Hey Ben,
For 3/4" PVC pipe you would want to use the 3/4" uniseal.
Uniseal Installation Instructions
- Cut hole to the hole saw size indicated for the Uniseal below.
- Ensure that the hole is clean with no sharp edges. Irregularities can cause a poor seal and leaks.
- Insert the Uniseal into the hole with the wide flange on the outside of the container.
- Ensure the pipe end that will be inserted is clean of burs or sharp points. File the edges if needed.
- Insert the pipe into the Uniseal. You can lubricate the pipe end with Windex. Most of it will be squeezed off during installation but be sure to wash thoroughly before turning on your system.
