This thing comes loaded with DI in both units. That price alone justifies getting this unit. Love it! (Posted on 3/2/12)

  3. Saves Money in the long run! Review by Tony

This unit saves money over a single unit by allowing you to use the first chamber to complete exhaustion(media turned completely brown) and still not have to worry about changing the unit out because you still have the second unit running. It's noted that even after the media has gone to brown it is still has ionizing characteristics to some extent. At this point, you move the second canister to the first position, refill the spent canister and put in it the second positon and you're good to go! Of course you should run a TDS meter to correlated all this.
Most people with singles canisters tend to change the media out prior to becoming completely brown because they don't want to risk the inorganics in there water(especially if they don't have TDS meter)...not the case with this setup! Going to order another one for my sister inlaw's tank!! (Posted on 2/1/12)

I ran a tee off of the line going to my icemaker from the RO system I already had and hooked this up to make aquarium water, it works perfect and was inexpensive. (Posted on 1/4/12)

Forget the rinky dink DI canisters that came with your RO/DI system and add on two of these for the ultimate in DI filtering. (Posted on 12/13/11)

I installed this last night and am very impressed with it's performance so far. I have an RO unit that was installed with my house filter and water softner. It works, good takes my tds from 200 down to 7, however with the DI Dual Canister it works better.

    Installation:
I got the dual DI Canister in the mail and it already came pre packed with some 1/4 out line already attached to the output line. I just connected the unit to the end of my RO unit out line using a Ball Valve. (The Ball valve is not included, but since most people have their RO unit next to their DI unit, this is really not needed as you can just connect the tube straight to the RO unit). That was it, it was ready to go. It took longer to find a place to hook up the unit than actually install it.

    Results:

I put it in a good place so I can see when the DI resin will change colors. I went from 7 ppm to 0 ppm. (Posted on 1/7/11)
