The BulkReefSupply.com 6 Stage Deluxe RO/DI unit is the upgrade to our 5 Stage Plus unit. The upgrades include a Commercial Grade Dual TDS Meter, Dual Stage DI Canister, and a Flow Meter. - how much water does the 6 stage waste and how can i reduce that
- Typically the ratio of waste water to good water will be between 3:1 and 5:1 assuming you have proper water pressure and temp. Most of our customers get closer to the 3:1 unless they do something that increases back pressure (like a pressurized storage tank for water).
Ways to decrease waste water depend a lot on what exactly you have setup, but for most applications the 150gpd water saving upgrade kit will decrease waste water by as much as half.
