Only choose a chloramine filters if you have received notice from your water supply that they are using chloramines to treat the water. If you want to be sure locate a contact number on your water bill or call your city hall and ask for the water treatment number. The first person you talk to should be able to tell you if they use chloramines and only takes 5 minutes to be sure. Please note that chlorine and chloramines are different. Chlorine is easily removed with our standard filters
