- Hey Jamie,
The BRS reactor itself does not have to be placed in the sump. It can be mounted to a wall, tank stand, cabinet above sump, etc. It does have an all plastic design though, so if you want to set it in the sump that is just fine as well. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
