Quick Overview

Designed to be easy to use, setup and maintain, the BRS fluidized reactor is perfect for utilizing GFO and Carbon in the aquarium. Our reactors are not only easy to use, but they do away with annoying thumbs screws and leaky lids common with other reactors. We recommend a Cobalt Aquatics MJ 1200 pump to operate this reactor and sell this reactor standalone or packaged with the pump. Depending on mounting height and amount of media used, you may choose to use a different pump.

Sort by Descending
  • From George at 3/28/12 12:50 PM
    • In what order are the gfo and carbon run and why?
    • Hey George,
You want to run the GFO first, then carbon. Not a huge deal but the carbon will catch any fines produced from the GFO tumbling.

    • How much, if any, tubing comes with this unit?
    • Hey Robert,
The dual gfo and carbon reactor comes with 2 section of tubing, each section is 3ft long.

  • From Jamie at 5/2/12 11:37 AM
    • Is this an in sump unit or out?
    • Hey Jamie,
The BRS reactor itself does not have to be placed in the sump. It can be mounted to a wall, tank stand, cabinet above sump, etc. It does have an all plastic design though, so if you want to set it in the sump that is just fine as well.
