CaPur (Calcium Carbonate) 3 liter
Calcium Carbonate (CaC03) is easily found in nature in many different forms namely, calcite and aragonite. It is used in a calcium reactor for our aquariums to give a highly bio-available source of calcium. Elos CaPur is an extremely pure calcium carbonate that is also very porous and dissolves easily which reduces the need to add excessive amounts of CO2. In contrast to other calcium reactor medias, it does not add phosphate or nitrates (i.e. coral sand). With a combination of high purity natural raw material and surface treatment (increased porosity) make it an ideal calcium reactor media for both standard and fluidized calcium reactors such as the Elos REA calcium reactors.
