The Bubble Magus Protein Skimmer can really help to keep your salt water aquarium free of nitrogenous waste that may harm your fish or corals. By installing one of the four available Bubble Magus products available on our site, you can be sure that your biological filter will not have any difficulty in dealing with the organic, decomposing compounds in the aquarium.
Protein skimmers work by injecting bubbles into the water, which attract proteins and other amino acids found in decomposing organic matter. Once attached to the bubbles these proteins will be easier to remove and flow over into the skimmer cup. This process is an important part of your aquarium's biological filter.
The Bubble Magus Protein Skimmer is available in four different variations: the BM-NAC3+, BM-NAC7 Cone, BM-180-CS Cone, and the BM-220-CS Cone. Each one differs in size and power. The bigger the aquarium, the more powerful the skimmer should be.
