The Start Up kit from Prodibio brings a functional way to start an aquarium within hours. Utilizing live bacteria strains and other additives the Start Up kit will prepare your tank for fish and other inhabitants. By starting the biological filtration cycle, what will usually take months, can be cut down into days if not hours in some cases.

BioDigest Start will populate your new tank with live strains of bacteria that will consume waste reducing any ammonia levels. By reducing, ammonia levels in the long run nitrate levels will remain lower while preventing the spread of filamentous algae.

Stop Ammo Start is designed to stop ammonia from increasing and reducing nitrite production. With any new system, ammonia will become present and Stop Ammo will trap it from becoming lethal to fish.

  • Perfect for cycling new tanks
  • Hardy fish can be added within 12 hours
  • Contains live bacteria
  • reduces nitrates and phosphates

How should the StartUp Kit be used:
It is suggested to use Start Up when starting any new aquarium allowing you to introduce hardy fish within the first 12 hours of the tank being set up. With any new tank we do not suggest adding fish or any livestock right away, but if you need to move things along quickly StartUp is what you have been looking for.

Dosage Instructions:
It is recommended to dose all of the vials for your associated tank size in one sitting.

0 - 14 gal: 2 vials
15 - 29 gal: 4 Vials
30 - 49 gal: 6 Vials
50 - 94 gal: 12 Vials
95 - 1000 gal: 30 Vials

Note: Prodibio utilizes glass vials which excel greatly over plastic containers when it comes to oxidation and contamination. Please read the "How to use the product" instructions that are included with each kit to properly break the glass vials. All vials are filled with argon or nitrogen instead of oxygen. Lack of oxygen within the vial allows nutrients within to stay fresh.

Product Questions

Do these have an expiration date, and do they need to be refrigerated? If i plan on starting my tank in about a month will it last that long?
Question by: william reed on Nov 21, 2017, 9:55 AM
Hey there,

Due to the special production process, the bacteria are preserved within each ampule with argon or nitrogen gas and lie dormant until added to your aquarium. There is no need to refrigerate as these ampules will remain viable for years.

Happy reefing!
