Added this valve to the output of the carbon filters, but before RO, so I can easily obtain clean drinking water with out using the DI. Very easy to modify the system and install this valve. Don't know what people did before this type of valve was used. No leaks and easy to turn with any water pressure.

I use this right before my DI cartridge so I can pull drinking water from my RO to refill my bottled water.
Agree its pricey, but saves me a lot of time and mess disconnecting RO lines.

When I saw that I was passing over 100 TDS water through my DI cartridge the first few minutes of usage this valve was a no brainer. $20 might be hard to swallow at first but the long term value can't be beat to avoid TDS creep and how it will exhaust your DI resin. This is a must have for your RO/DI unit.

I used to disconnect tubing to reroute water to the drain to flush new cartridges. One time, I did not connect the tube correctly and the slow leak made quite a mess. I now use one of these to switch the water to and from the drain to make cartridge flushing much quicker.

Bought this to prevent tds creep from destroying my di resin prematurely. Works perfect but pricy for this little thing, although it will pay off not having to buy di resin earlier than needed due to tds creep
