I use this on my waste water line, and whenever the float switch goes up, I can be sure that no outside bugs/air are getting in to my ro membrane.

I use this in conjuntion w/ my autoshut off and works perfect. Fast and easy to install. Just need something to put the line and push both end into the cut ends. DONE!

I'm a bit paranoid about backflow so I got one of these guys. In addition to being a good check valve, it doubles as a join. When I removed my RO filter for servicing, I cut the the inflow and dirty water lines. I put a check valve on the cut dirty water line, and a ball valve on the inflow line. Now I can service the RO system easily!

This is a great little check valve. Very high quality, just like the other fittings sold by BRS. Seemed a little pricey, especially compared to the other fittings. But, couldn't find anywhere else. I'm using this just after a tee to allow me to collect just RO water (for drinking, coffee, etc.) from my filter and not have any backflow from the DI canister. Works great!
