The small size has more surface area for adsorption, and fills the space better, than the large granule. Works well, in reef environments, with little rinsing required.

This has cleaned up my water very well and thus I would recommend it to a friend but I might recommend that he try the large particle version as it seems I can not find a pump that can comfortably push water through the small particle stuff.

I never thought I could have this clear of water til I started using BRS carbon. As soon as I use up my gallon of small particle carbon I will be trying out ROX.

I havent tried the premium stuff yet, dont know if I will. This stuff made a difference in my water clarity, especially when used in a reactor. This definitely beats the marineland stuff and pretty much anything else. you can tell the difference.

Bought this awhile ago, has lasted a long time. And has been an excellent carbon. I chose this over rox because I change my carbon out every 2 weeks. Works great in my brs reactor

It works great in my brs reactor and my water is crystal clear!! It took about a week to kick in but when it did, it was crazy. My only complaint is that it's super dusty. But it's not a big deal.
