This is a very easy pump to setup. The pump is super quite and 1.1mL per minute flow rate makes it ideal for automating 2 Part dosing. Don't forget a timer Eco Plus Dual Digital Timer is a good one.

I'm impressed with the build quality of these Italian made dosers. Very solid casings and well thought out mounting brackets and tube connectors. Installation was super easy - two pilot holes per pump and screw on the bracket...no shelf required. The enclosed tubing, both hard and soft vinyl, is a nice touch.

They run very quietly. They make a low noise, but I cannot hear them when running inside my enclosed stand.

I also appreciate that there are no built in electronics in these dosers. My intuition tells me that they will be more reliable over the long haul with one less thing to break.

I only have one criticism: The beakers that are included for calibration are not ruled finely enough for a 10 minute test. I ended up using a 50ml graduated cylinder I had which was far more accurate.

Unfortunately, I timed my purchase poorly. I could have got free shipping and 1000 rewards points per pump if I had waited one more week. Could have saved $29!!! Arrggh - I HATE when that happens....

Been using 3 of these on an aquarium controller for the past 4 months without fail. It comes with more than enough tubing for an average install and mounting hardware for a clean, and easy install. I only wish it also came with .5" screws to mount on a cabinet wall but that's what the hardware stores are for. i'll probably be getting another one for trace element dosing in the near future.

I have 2 BRS dosers that I use to dose Alk and CA. Combined with my controller, these pumps are awesome. I dose for 1 min out of every hour throughout the day to keep my levels constant. Easy to setup and quick mounting.

I own much more expensive dosing pumps and the BRS is my favorite. I love the ease of set-up and operation. Calibrate it, plug it into a timer and dose as little as 1 ml to whatever amount you may need. I use them to dose 2 part, magnesium and potassium iodide.

I travel for extended times for my employer and I have recently started using the BRS 2 part formula. My wife does a great job in taking care of the regular maintenance while I am gone but she found it difficult to leave home for more than a couple of days in order to stay on top of things with our tanks. So I looked for a way to automate things for her. I buy most of my reef supplies from BRS so I looked there and found these dosers. They are the best equiptment purchase I have made since I went to MH lighting! Don't let your tank go without these! Super simple to set up!
