I used 2, side by side on my Barracuda pump and they reduced the vibration noise by a good 50%! Will order 2 more in the hopes of going even quieter.

I had a pretty bad vibration from my return pump in my sump. I put two of these in a zip lock bag under it. I can no longer feel/hear the pump upstairs!

Have my pump on a piece of plywood, aka drum skin after screwing down best possible. Tried multiple items around the house to help. A kitchen sponge worked best but after a day would flatten out. Nothing with such resilience at the hardware store for comparable price. Quite pleased with the performance of this specialty dampener item.

I always had a buzz in my sump from the internal pump vibration. I read somewhere that these pads were not meant for use in the water so i put them in a zip close baggie. Wow, I was amazed that the noise was now gone.

I have a big pump sitting on the concrete floor and I could feel it at the second story of my house ... not anymore!
Also works for soung alas that was not all that important to me :)

Pad I received is a layer of cork (~1/2") sandwiched in between two layers of ribbed rubber. Very straightforward and reduces vibration noise very well.
