Does what it's supposed to do. I have a submersable pump but don't think it's safe to have it submerged in water so double wrapped it 2 heavy duty plastic fish bags...works well!!

I bought this to silence my mag 7 pump. It helped alot with the noise, but I still have vibrational noise that I can hear.

I am going to try and work something else out, like maybe mounting suction cups to bottom to allow it to float a little bit, might also try some filter material underneath to allow less contact w/ the glass.

I have an eheim 2262 - the mounting piece connecting the pump to the canister is TERRIBLE and was very noisy no matter how I adjusted it. I was so disappointed with the filter. I bought 15 of these to place under the entire canister thinking it might help.

Instead took off the mounting piece, placed two of these pads between the pump and canister, and the pump is now SILENT. I've read online how people say they literally cant tell if their 2262 is turned on or not, and I always thought they were just exaggerating, but its true with this modification - Its very hard to tell whether its turned on when your head is 2 feet from it.
I also placed 3 pads under the canister between it and my wood cabinet to dampen even more.

I could not be happier with these pads. They are obviously high quality and work very well.

It does what it is suppose to do. I don't hear the pumps running or feel them. I did stack them for even less vibration and noise. Will definitely by in the future

I bought 2 of these,i put one under my return pump, this thing absorbs the sound but not the vibration.nothing changed before or after. it's also small, I used silicone pad which absorbed way much noise and vibration than this thing. but it's water safe i used it for a month under the water with no bags and it still looks like brand new.

I used 2, side by side on my Barracuda pump and they reduced the vibration noise by a good 50%! Will order 2 more in the hopes of going even quieter.

Have my pump on a piece of plywood, aka drum skin after screwing down best possible. Tried multiple items around the house to help. A kitchen sponge worked best but after a day would flatten out. Nothing with such resilience at the hardware store for comparable price. Quite pleased with the performance of this specialty dampener item.

I always had a buzz in my sump from the internal pump vibration. I read somewhere that these pads were not meant for use in the water so i put them in a zip close baggie. Wow, I was amazed that the noise was now gone.
