This is a must have for every reefer. Stubborn coraline algae on glass disintegrates in it's path. Makes my tank look like new after every cleaning.
I purchased this scraper along with the Pirannha algae-free magnet.
Tip: Be careful when super-glueing this scraper on your magnet. Take your time, and carefully glue it in place.
This thing is changing my life By Sara on 5/2/2013

You know how it is. You wait a couple of days too long to get out the mag float and now the algae is really caked on. Then you don't bother with it because you know you're going to have to get in there and scrape it off by hand and you just don't feel like it. So you put it off and put it off and before you know it...you can't have anyone over because your tank looks terrible.
Enter the easy blade. In just a few minutes, you can have your tank looking like new again. I wish I'd gotten one sooner....but you know how it is....you put it off and put it off and before you know it.....

Worked better than I could have hoped. Easily removed coraline algae buildup. Way better than your favorite "scraper on a stick".

Used extend scrapers and this by far the best thing out there. I mean this took 15 minutes and my 120g tank looked like new.

Overall I think that this is a good product. I think the key is to have it on the right magnet. I also have a biocube and it is just a little large for that. I just upgraded my tank so I'm sure it will work much better on at 65.

I glued this thing to one of the big Mag Float magnets with some CA- from a hobby store, and it's FANTASTIC! Just be careful around the silicone!!

My only regret is that I didn't buy this a long time ago. All I can say is WOW! Made my tank look brand new. It takes off stubborn algae with ease.

If you leave the blade in the tank for two days. You see rust start develop on the blade. It such pain remove blade and clean for storage every time you use it.

A must have for aquarium maintenance. By Eric on 2/14/2012

Just got our Easy Blade from BRS and we love it. I have to admit that I was sceptical about this product after using alot of other "aquarium cleaners" but this thing does exactly what it claims to. It is easy use, lets us reach places the mag float is to big to get to and even lets us clean all the way to the sandbed. I'm recommending this product to my entire reef club and anyone else that is tired of getting in the tank with a razor blade.

I agree with all of the other reviews here, it's a great product and gets the job done. The only downside is the blade must be removed after use and kept dry. This item would be perfect if it had a rust-proof blade that could stay in the tank at all times. But it's not that big of a deal. I only need to install and use the blade once a month.

It does work very well for its intended purpose, but beware of getting even a single grain of sand stuck in it. it will scratch up your glass if you are not careful. even with that problem, it makes scraping glass much less of a chore, especially if you have coraline algae at all, this cuts right through it
