Salifert is considered the best maker of testing supplies for testing parameters for the reef tank. There is much competition and many products, but if the results are not accurate then who cares what the price is.
Salifert test kits are not cheap but they give the best results when you ask other local reefers.
The real negative is that they are not that easy to use. However, once you get the hang of it, all of their test kits use basically the same instructions, so it gets easier.
So to sum up, if the test kits are not accurate then they won't help with the reef. So Salifert wins hands down.
