Environmentally wise and free of nuisance pests. It’s nice to not worry about apapitasia and fire worms. Stacks well and my order came with lots of nice pieces. I bought 200 lbs for a new tank setup, and because it’s not alive, I could take my time fitting it all together just the way I wanted it.

Purchased some to add to my new tank with cured live rock from old tank. I fits and stays together very well. After three months it looks almost like the live rock I used. In two months it will look just like my coraline encrusted live rock. This product is a no brainer when considering the cost you save over live rock to have the same look not to mention all the bad hitchhikers that live rock can give your tank.

The rocks I ordered seemed to fit as though they were aquascaped before mailing.

One problem, I have had to plug some of the holes, as one of the rocks was hollow, and fish could get in, but not get out.

Not exactly a problem BRS could do anything about, but be careful how you place your rocks!

l am in love with Eco Dry Rock! (And with Bulk Reef Supply.) I've been trying for months to get a new seahorse tank cycled. It got stuck halfway (not enough Nitrobacter). My problem was in using an artificial reef structure; there just wasn't enough surface area to grow bacteria, even though I have a wet/dry filter with bioballs. I purchased some of BRS's Eco Rock. The order arrived the next day! (I live in the Twin Cities area, so that helped, but still -- fabulous service!) When I opened the box of rock, the sculptor in me went wild! Gorgeous pieces exactly the size and shaped I'd asked for. I quickly built an aesthetic, seamless formation and secured it with cable ties -- very easy to do, since the rock has so many holes. I then glued artificial corals in some of the holes. (This is a seahorse only tank, so I'm not growing live corals.) Voila! Instant reef! I have no doubt that my tank's cycle will now complete. And I have a gorgeous, pest-free reef structure! Thanks, BRS!

I purchased 150 pnds of this and i received 164 pounds. Rocks are so easy to stack and look completely natural as on piece. They lock together like puzzle pieces. I used no glue or rods and my rock has not moved.

It's far too often a practice of showing the best pieces of a product then sending just what ever is laying around. I am happy to report this rock is exactly like the pictures shown. It is also very easy to aquascape! My rock came completely clean with no dirt or organics anywhere to be found. The only thing I recommend is do be sure to rinse them in some RO water before putting them in the tank as they are very dusty (rock dust) upon arrival. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Also Kudos to BRS for using biodegradable packing materials +1 to you guys.

Picked 15 lbs of this up last year for my nano. Since I was in no rush, I decided to give the dry rock a shot. What I received looked great and was very porous, perfect from bacteria. I seeded it with some live sand and a piece of rock from my other tank and now it looks awesome

This stuff is so simple to put together and create awesomely unique structures. if I ever want to switch it up I just rotate a few rocks vs tearing down everything and starting over. I wish I could give it a 6 but since 5 is all they have.

I purchased 40 pounds of the reef saver for my sons 80 gallon bowtank upgrade back in January. We already had 50 pounds of live rock and I must say the eco dry is the way to go. Plenty of holes for our wrasses.
This rock is so easy to landscape, and it is so streamlined. We were able to make many caves with it. The advantages with the reef saver is there are no critters to this rock. It is very clean and you get so much quantity because it is dry. I asked for large and medium sizes. THe large ones were football sized rock. BRS customer support is fabulous! I had a question and they answered it in seconds, I am a fan of BRS and will do all of my ordering with them. Great company!!!

This rock is a great deal. It looks better than any live rock at my local fish store and at one quarter the price. All the holes are great for mounting SPS coral frags.
