Excellent Value By Martin on 1/9/12

I ordered 30 pounds and it is definitely 30 pounds, if not more. The rock is easy to work with in aquascaping. I followed instructions on the video to shape some of the rock and it worked well. Very happy with this product.

Good Stuff By AG on 1/9/12
AG would recommend this product to a friend
Rock pieces were large and interesting.
Packaging was high quality.
Easy to aquascape.
Good value.
Very powdery.
Of course, this rock doesn't really look as good a real live rock and it doesn't contain all the interesting life and surprises that come with real live rock.

This rock looks natural and stacks good. It is white and porous to help with stacking. Great product, bought 60 pounds and I will buy more.

Reef Saver Rock By Will on 1/1/12
Will would recommend this product to a friend
First, BRS rocks! Literally. The reef saver rocks arrived in great shape. Only one rock was chipped. The packaging was 5 stars. Also, the price was the best that I could find on-line. Now my review.
Pros:
1) Good price/value.
2) The rocks fit together well. With a little epoxy, these rocks can be stacked together like Legos.
3) Fairly strong but not as strong as real rock.
4) Over time, these rocks will "resemble" real rock and coralline algae does grow on them.
5) Eco-friendly. Does not come from the ocean.
Cons:
1) Brittle. These "rocks" crack/chip easily.
2) Powdery. Rocks need to be rinsed thoroughly. Your water will be cloudy for a few days even after numerous rinses.
3) Not real rock. If you want a tank that looks like the ocean then I would stay with real rock. Nothing can replace mother nature.
4) This rock may increase your phosphate levels. So, monitor your levels for a few days.
5) These rocks are very white and bleached looking.
So, if you want a real, natural looking reef tank then stay with live rock but help save the environment and use this rock as base rock. For example, if you needed 150 pounds of live rock. You could use 50 pounds of reef rock as your base. This would definitely help the environment and your wallet. I hope this review was helpful.

Still working on my 120G. Ordered 120lbs and got 133 of Reef Saver. Nice sizes in boxes. Packaged better than i would have thought. out of 133lbs i got maybe 4lbs of Rubble, That i will thank UPS for as it looked like they dropped the one box. Lots of caves and passage ways for the future fish to swim in, Thanks BRS

Very nice dry rock. By Brian on 12/28/11

I decided to go wih dry rock over live rock this time around because of the horrible experiences I have had with pests and algae. Wouldn't look back one bit. Very nice rocks, very porous and full of crags and caves. Would recommend this to anyone.

Amazing By TheBull on 12/25/11

This rock is light, porous and full of hiding places. Stacks seamlessly. I had 1/2 a pound of rubble in a 50 pound box. Packing was great.
I ordered 50 pounds for my 34 gal Solana because it's cheap and i wanted some aquascaping options. I might be able to fit 30-35 pounds of it in the tank and it will be full of rock. I couldn't fit all 50 pounds if i tried.
Don't hesitate. This is the best rock at the best price with no impact on wild reefs. It's a no brainer

Not much can be said that hasn't already been said! This rock truly is amazing. All the pieces fit together perfect just like in the videos. I wish I would have known about this sooner so I could have used reefsaver for all my rock! All my pieces were as white as can be, so I didn't have to cure anything, just a quick rinse and plopped em right end.
If your torn between this and the pukani...double up on this. The pukani can't even compare
