Great Pump! By moore1811 on 5/24/12

Although a tad pricey for my taste I happy with the quality of the product. It did it's job and boosted my very poor water pressure to a hefty 75psi with no problem. Now I can use the 150GPD upgrade with maximum efficiency.

Must have pump By Ben on 4/12/12

Recently added this pump to my 5 stage RO/DI with dual 100 GPD membranes and I had pretty decent pressure at 60 PSI, but I added this and wow did it make a difference. I now make water at almost 270+ GPD a day. 40 gallon tank is filled in 3 1/2 hours!!!!

This pump is soo nice. Since Im on a well and my water pressure was to low my ro unit was not running efficiently. But now its running great. I would recommend a prefilter so you don't ruin the pump

we're now on a well with marginal pressure -- this (pricey) booster brought our efficiency up a bunch!!!!! wish it was cheaper, love what it does for me...

Works amazingly well with AWI Typhoon RODI By Shawn on 2/23/12

I have the Air Water Ice Typhoon Extreme III RO/DI system. It worked *ok* on city water pressure around 35-40psi. I've since moved to my new house where my well water pressure is only around 25psi and the RO/DI output is awful. Admittedly, I needed to change the RO filters, but it took THREE hours to fill a 5 gallon bucket….Three hours!!! I knew a booster pump was definitely needed.
I was considering the pump that AWI sells, but heard mixed reviews so I tried this one given the great reviews here and on all the saltwater forums. I’m glad I did!!! This baby is sweet. Super easy to setup and the pressure switch works perfectly for shutting off the pump when my ASOV kicks in. You can barely hear it running too.
The AWI RO/DI I have says that you shouldn’t go above 75psi so I was able to fine tune the pump (using adjustment screw on top) to give me 70psi and the water production rate is SO much better. The most satisfying test is just turning the pump off and seeing how pathetic the flow rate into your holding container is! Then plug it back in and watch the water start streaming out!
The rejection rate also seemed to get better too. I don’t have exact percentages because I forget what my well water TDS was to start with…but I can say that my TDS out of the RO membrane fluctuates between 1 or 2 WITH the pump. Without the pump, I was getting 4-6 pretty consistently. Naturally it is 0 out of my DI…but the lower the TDS is on the input to the DI, the less money you pay in DI replacements!

AWESOME!!! A MUST FOR LARGER RODI SYSTEMS By spotter on 2/20/12

I just added this to my system when I upgraded from 75 gpd to 150 gpd. My pressure was just under 55 psi and I split my rodi output line in 3 different directions. I would never be able to fill 3 different containers at the same time...until now that is. With the booster pump my psi gauge is full throttle and I can fill all 3 containers at the same time when needed. You won't regret this investment.

Well worth the investment! By Collin on 2/17/12

Before I installed this my house was pressurizing the input at 45psi which ended up meaning that the RO/DI 5 stage was producing 37 gallons per day, way below optimum.
After installing the pump I was producing water at 72 gallons per day, extremely close to the touted 75 GPD for the RO/DI sold on BRS.

I had an inlet pressure of 42 psi. I added this kit and my inlet pressure went to 94 psi. It makes RODI water fast and it is relativly quiet. easy to install and use. Worth the money

Able to expand with Aquatec 8800 By Jim on 1/30/12

My faucet pressure is only 22psi and when I first installed this pump I was getting 92psi to the membrane! I easily adjusted the pressure to 63psi. I would'nt have believed the improvement with my 75gal 5 stage+ if I had not seen it for myself. The pump is also very quiet running even though I run my system on the countertop.

Great unit but be ready to adjust By Doug on 1/23/12
Doug would recommend this product to a friend
Watched the video for installation and BRS said the pump and pressure switch are adjusted from the factory so no adjustment is usually necessary. I hooked everything up and the booster pump went over a hundred psi so I had to back it down. Then tested the pressure switch and at about 90 psi it was still going strong so I had to adjust that as well. Now that everything is adjusted properly its working like a charm. Love it!

Low Pressure Problem Solved By Keith on 1/17/12

I ordered this item and it arrived today. It only took about 20 minutes to install. I oredered it due to the low pressure coming into my home. I was getting 30 psi at best. After installing the booster pump, the pressure jumped to 80 psi, making my system more efficient. I highly recommend this item for those dealing with low water pressure. It works as discribed, easy to install and runs quietly.

previously had little water pressure. Now I have nothing to worry about water pressure, easy installation, low vibration, making the most advantage of my system of RO / DI.
