Stop what you're doing and BUY THIS UNIT NOW By Carlos A. on 10/6/13

I've been frustrated to no end trying to fine tune a similar setup I bought from another vendor. Their unit included the same pump but didn't include a pressure switch and instead required the endless fine-tuning of several different variables (turn this dial down, turn the other up, but not too much, etc...), which took hours and hours and it never ever came even close to working as well as this did right out of the box. This is a set-it-and-forget-it solution that is SO MUCH EASIER. I had thrown away my previous set up and I am so glad I bought this one. My 150 gpd RO system went from producing a very slow drip (maybe 25 gallons/day) to now producing a solid stream of very close to the 150 gpd max. More importantly, the ratio of good to bad water is much better. Buy this now. It's the same kind of quality you find with Tunze and Bubble King.
I highly recommend combining this with the: Aquatec Auto Flush Flow Restrictor, also available on this site. That makes it truly an automatic system that will save you tons in filters and water over the long run.
Aquatec is brilliant for having designed this. Bravo.

llike everyone else I had low psi only 40 going into my 5 stage brs ro/di unit and only making 2 gallons of water at about 35min a gallon and replacing resin at a quicker rate then I would think should be needed so my descision became a cost saving idea to finally purchase so I lucked up it just so happen a fellow Michigan reefer was selling one for $70 with power supply and pressure switch so it was a no brainer when I offered a trade and only spent $50 and with the rubber feet you cant really here it running I went from psi of 40 to 60 and with the adjustment screw I now have 80 psi and producing 1 gallon every 15-18 min 0 tds water

The Aquatec 8800 booster pump is a must for any RODI system. I had adaquate water pressure half of the year before adding the pump- now I am making water at my systems capacity more efficiently even in the winter. The pump will pay for itself over time and is easy to integrate into your current system.

Water pressure out of the tap was 25-30 psi. Not good, Ordered this kit from BRS and now I'm at 63 psi with plenty of room to spare. Problem solved and the best price.

I live in the country with my own well. I connected my RO/DI system and the pressure swing between 24 and 32 psi. I added this pump and now my pressure is between 88 and 90 psi. This has increased the my RO/DI water output tremendously.

I got the aquatec 8800 kit from brs I hooked it to my brs ro di system and what a difference it made . My water pressure went from 35 psi to 95 psi . Also my brs di resin last longer now. I also got the pressure switch and float valve which took the guess work out when my water storage container was full . No more check every hour to see if it is full. It shuts the pump off automatic when it reach a certain level. Thanks brs for making reefing easier

I was running 40psi with my 75gal ro system in my apt. adding this pump with the 150 gal upgrade, I couldn't be happier running at 80psi and using up less resin than before. Someone like me who doesn't have a lot of time to spend making ro water this gets the job done quickly.
Must have for low pressure By Aaron on 6/29/13

Having well water only gave us a maximum of 45psi and dropped to around 30psi before the well pump kicked in. Water production was horrible and waste ratio was 4:1. With this pump we are at a consistent 85 to 90 psi and waste ratio has improved significantly. This pump is a must have for well owners. Hook up was easy, although I placed the pump right before the membrane instead of the first sediment filter. Works perfect.

My 75GPD 6-stage chloramines RO/DI kit was more like a 35-40GPD system until I got this pump. Water used to trickle out so slowly. The TDS going in to the DI stage was high as well and I was tearing through DI resin like crazy. When I added this pump, I had to turn it down a little to get back to 80psi by using the small hex screw in the center of the top and turning it counter-clockwise. Water shoots out so much faster (80-90GPD) and the TDS is lower out of the RO stage. The only mistake was mounting this to a wall - the vibration is carried through the house and it makes it pretty loud. I will try moving it to another surface that is de-coupled from the wall.

Great pump! My municipal water pressure was at 29 psi this pump brought it all the way up to 60 psi with room to increase the pressure! Excellent for my 150 gpd rodi water saver plus unit.

This is really a neat little pump, it comes with everything you would need to boost the pressure to your ro system. It boosted my pressure from 45lbs to around 90lbs. It is a little noisy and needs to be mounted to something so it dosnt walk around. Its easy to hook up, just snip out a short section of supply hose, and a short section of the hose that goes to your storage tank to insert the pressure switch. When you float rises, the pump will shut off automatically.

This works great! Bought the 75gpd RO/DI unit and when I got it set up I was VERY disappointed to find I only had about 30 psi and a periodic trickle of filtered water coming out. Purchased the booster pump and patiently (not really lol) waited for it to come so I could get rolling on curing the dry rock I previously purchased. Hooked it up and started getting nearly 100 psi!! Had to turn it back a little. Now pulling a steady 80 psi at 0 tds and have my rock curing in the basement!! :-) Next purchase might just have to be the converter kit to increase my unit to the 150 gpd now that I have the pump and know it could handle it!! :-)

I got around 95 psi. so i have to dialed down a bit to around 80 psi. i am really happy that i can finally utilize full of my ro di unit. none of the other big aquarium online store offer booster pump kit and instrucitons. thank you brs!

I get 60psi from my municipal water supply. When someone is using water, it's alot less. This eliminates the problem. Im getting 90psi constantly. 1# Doubles production 2# Better rejection rate.,reduces TDS before the DI canisters from 14 before the pump to 7-8 TDS. Saves DI Resin.

I was only getting 42 PSI with my home water pressure on a 75 GPD
RO/DI unit. I added a 150 GPD upgrade kit and this pump and get a steady 88 PSI. It is a very quiet pump and fills my 32 gal. can in half the time. I am very pleased with this product.

Was getting only 28-30PSI before getting this unit. I live in an old factory converted to a high rise apartment complex.
I initially looked on ebay for a cheap unit, but after adding it all up, you really arent saving much money. I spent the extra $20 or so on the Aquatec 8800 kit from BRS and am very happy that I did.
After installing this, I get a steady 90PSI. My RO/DI output is a steady stream of water where it used to be a couple drips per second.
Pump is quiet, installation a breeze. I highly recommend this product.

So this certainly improved my RO/DI unit in combination with the 75gl extra membrane. I wasn’t getting the amount the video stated till I understood that I needed the extra pressure. I am glad I got the full kit and not just the pump. I like it when all the parts needed are on hand and just to be installed instead of tracking down all the parts to actually use the pump. Less water to waste and collect for other use’s helps with the water bill.
