I have the 75GPD BRS 4 Stage Value Plus RO/DI unit. I didn't know this unit came with the auto shut off valve and inline check valve already installed so I only needed the float valve. The float valve works great and the video for installation was easy to follow.

Purchased this thinking I needed this is what I needed to hook up to my BRS RO/DI system. This was not the case. I only needed the float valve.

I ordered two of these. One for my RO storage container that stores water strictly to be transferred to mix with salt, or used for cleaning. The second I installed in a 5 gallon bucket and used a T off my "clean" water blue lines. This way the system will run when either container is empty but the float will stop it from over flowing. The beauty in this system is that even when my Top of container is full it will still fill my storage container. And the floats are small so they will fit perfectly in a bucket!

After experiencing my first "oops, I forgot!" moment, I decided to purchase this kit. Though it first came w/ a faulty check valve, BRS promptly replaced it and it's been working smoothly every since. Just be aware that it could take up to 5 minutes for the waste water to shut off after the float valve is triggered.

This is probably the best single purchase I ave made for the hobby. I have a 44gal barrel in my basement that I use for RO water, and this kit gives me peace of mind. I no longer have to worry about whether I remembered to turn off the RO/DI system before going to bed or when I'm not at home. Have not had a single problem with it. I used the BRS TV instructional video to install it on a 3rd party RO unit and have been happy with it since.

This cool little unit is the best there is. When I built my system I didn't research too much more then the filters I needed. Now that Its almost fully automatic. this is one of those things you will need to complete your system.

It does shut off the water flow from my DI filter to the storage tank, but quite often it does not shut off the waste water flow and has to be shaken to get it to engage.

I would almost monthly forget about my RO/DI unit running and overflow water all over the place. This setup is a life and marriage saver. No more spills! I don't know why it took me so long to order one. BRS should make this standard with it's units, in my opinion if you're buying an RO unit you should have one of these in your cart as well. A $25 investment that could save you thousands in home repairs and divore lawyer fees.

I installed this item on my RO/DI water reserve tank today. It works as described, easly to install and has made collecting the water much easier and there's no longer the worry of my tank over flowing if I get busy on another project. I highly recommend it.

This is a must have accessory. I have two, one on my fresh water 30 gal brute can and one on my 20 gal saltwater mix and age brute. I have them connected to my RODI via a "t" and two quarter turn shut-offs. Knock on wood I haven't had a failure yet.

If you're getting an RO/DI system and you're thinking I will just remember to turn off the water, take it from me...you won't. This little device lets you turn any container into an always full source of RO/DI water. It really is a must have. For all of you buying one of the drinking water systems from BRS, just so you know your system comes with the automatic shutoff and one way flow valve. What this means is all you actually need is the adjustable float valve (which they sell separately and for half the price).

I bought this after forgetting to turn off the water to my RO/DI unit one night. It overflowed the RO/DI container I used to hold the water and flodded part of the basement. Fortunately for me, the way the basement floor goes, the majority of the water ran into the drain or it could have been much worse.

I watched the video before I installed the auto-shutoff and it really only took about 10 minutes to install, if that long. It's a quality product that does exactly what you bought it for.

This product is very easy to install and has saved me a ton of time making reef water. It took only minutes to install and no leaks from my reservoir. Now when I make reef water I just roll my reservoir over to my RO system then turn it on and then walk away.
