I have this running on the wavemaker option of the reefkeeper, very small click on startup almost silent.
The magnet does seem to be weak works on 1/4" glass but any thicker glass could be a problem and the way the pump mounts to the magnet could be broken if force together wrong.

AH wouldn't recommend this product to a friend
Just received it and already can't get the parts to snap on correctly and securely. The magnet is weak and when I put it in my tank falls unless I have the power cord supporting it.
Really bad design and too expensive.

This is the perfect small pump, in my opinion. I use this on my Nanocube and a 6045 in my 75. Easy to aim, broad gentle flow, reasonable price... Typical Tunze perfection!
