Easy to setup, and only one simple to fix leak upon attachment to water faucet, once I located it. I merely had to push the line further into the john guest fitting, and viola! FIXED.

Overall I'm hoping this helps with my bubble algae issue, as all of my other parameters are under control, at 0 Nitrate / 0 Phosphate, even while using TAP WATER for over a year. Pretty sure using purigen and my Reef Octopus BH1000 helped here!

This is for a BB 40Breeder reef(clams/favia/softies & 3 fish). I've only done 2- 6 gallon water changes so far since getting the RO/DI, but got my Rubbermaid brute/with dolly yesterday, so I just mounted my float valve last night and made 20gals at 0 tds. (8 going in after R/O- 0 coming out dual DI). Float/shutoff valve works great. Hope these filters last a while.....

Installation for this was easy. I only had to get a Y splitter for the washing machine hose, a board to bolt this to and a stud finder. I got a 55 gallon barrel and installed this very easily. Nothing leaked, there were no missing parts, and everything is working smooth as pie. Out of the tap, we're looking at 220 ppm, after the RO, I'm seeing 6 ppm, and out of the DI I am seeing 0. I figured out the first 1500 gallons would cost me about 28 cents per gallon and after that it drops to about 9 cents. this compared to 45-60 cents per gallon is an incredible savings. Today I just ordered the 150 gpd water saver upgrade to cut back on waste and increase throughput. I highly recommend requesting this to be installed with your inital order and get it all at once to save shipping costs later. This unit is a lot cheaper than the competators, but it is very nice to use.

Had a missing o-ring in one of the DI canisters. BRS customer service quickly sent one out to get me going. Unit works great and is making water with 0 TDS as described!!

Thanks to the great customer service at BRS the first one I got had some leaks I called BRS and they shipped another one right out no questions asked. Got it the next day and it has been great ever since.

I searched all over for a complete RO/DI system for city water treated with chloramines. I narrowed my choices down to this unit and a Spectra Pure system. I'm so glad I selected this one as it has been so easy to use and set up. I had been using a 4 stage unit from Costco but have reduced it to serving as a filtration unit for drinking water only. It only would last a couple of months before I had to replace filters due to TDS slowly increasing weekly.

Interestingly, the Costco unit would reduce the TDS of our (TDS 255) tap water to about 4-6 TDS after replacing all the filters and membrane. It would stay there for a few weeks and then creep up to about a TDS of 11 or so before I would replace the required filters. The output of the BRS unit before hitting the DI resin consistently has a TDS of only 2-3 using the same meter and hasn't changed for 4 months. Nice

With the BRS unit installation was simple. The on board TDS meters and clear canisters let you know which media or filters need replacing. This saves so much guess work (and money). The one problem was that several of the fittings needed tightening and the unit leaked from them when first installed. I had read from several reviews that leaks can occasionally can be a problem with these. I'm a big fan of not fixing what isn't broken so I initially installed it for easy removal in the event of issues. Sure enough, mine leaked from a few inaccessible fittings. I had to remove and disassemble the unit to tighten them to get at the trouble makers. I was initially disappointed but it only took about 15 minutes for the whole process so it's really no big deal.

All in all this would be a five star purchase if not for the minor annoyance of doing a fiddling with it a bit. If I had to do it over again I'd still buy this unit.

Just got my unit last night. (Valentines day and wife was not happy).

Couldn't resist setting it up and it litteraly took longer to unbox everything than it did to hook it up.

TDS going into the first stage was around 900. Zero after coming out of the last DI canister. Going into the first DI canister was fairly consistent at around 10-12.

Super Happy with this and will only buy from BRS due to their AWESOME customer service!!!!!!

This is great unit would recommend to anyone looking I buy. This would have have 5 stars from me BUT my only complaint is the monitor is held on by Velcro. And it falls off all the time this piece should have a slot or hole in the back for mounting to the wall. Thanks BRS for good units.

Very happy with the product and more so with BRS customer support. The RO/DI had a small leak when I first installed it. I called BRS customer support and they gave me the option of sending me a replacement part or sending me a new unit. The new unit came in within a few days and no problems whatsoever since then. Great value.

I own the 5 stage plus syetm and just recently bought the 6 stage deluxe. It is a great value and the system is worth every penny. Wish I bought this system first. Awesome stuff.

Setup is simple. Solid construction. Would definitely recommend this product.

My city just switched to chloramines and now basically the whole reef club owns one of these systems. I could smell the ammonia in my holding tank and my test kit showed ammonia the water coming out of my RO. This unit solved both issues completely. build quality is also on a different level form the one my LFS sold me years ago.

I love the attention to detail that went into this system. It has a flush for both the membrane and catalytic carbon stage. The pressure gauge, TDS meter and volumizer are connected and configured just right. The instructions are great, too, well written and telling you exactly what you need to know.

But holy leaky leakstorm, Batman!

I'm glad I set it up in my concrete basement over the drain first. All three elbow connectors on the main unit were leaky. I've managed to fix one and almost fix another by just tightening them, but the third is positioned such that I'll need to take a canister off the mounting bracket. I'm still not sure whether I can fix it or will just need to send it back.

I have had this now for almost 3 years and other than replacing the media periodically, it works great. I would highly recommend this product.

I'VE HAD THIS UNIT FOR SOME TIME NOW AND IT TOTALLY OUT PERFORMS MY PREVIOUS RO/DI. IT COMES WITH MORE THAN ENOUGH FEATURES TO KEEP YOUR WATER CLEAN AND A FLOAT VALVE TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL OVERFLOWS.

Great unit, easy to install. I recomend the booster pump if your home has low water pressure, or you will be running through DI resin like crazy. My city has high TDS and also has Chloramine and my unit make 0-TDS water. Thaks BRS for another great product!!

I bought this system and it was a breeze to set up and has never had any issues. My city water is horrible and the water coming out of this system is pristine. I would recommend this product to anyone and would definitely buy a BRS RO/DI in the future if needed

This is a quality product and was put together nicely. The RODI came with instructions and instructions for every device. I'm confident that this system will last me for years.

You have to get the deluxe best bang for the buck. Flow meter to let you know how much water has gone through unit and when to change filters (awesome) and dual TDS as well as dual DI.

My only con would be it would be nice to have an additional TDS to test supply water coming in to RO before anything.

So after going back and forth to the LFS and the water stations and only geting RO water half the time and paying for RO/DI water that had a TDS of very rarely zero and seeing diatom blooms all the time. I decided to save myself some money and buy this unit! I live in AZ right now and cholramine isn't added to our water but I will be moving to FL in 2 years and then somewhere else in 3 years for my job. God only knows what they have in their water there so I opted for the decked out system. Since the install of this product I ALWAYS have a TDS of "0" and no more diatom bloom its great!!!! I totally recommend this product to everyone that I sell frags to locally because it just makes your life so much easier!!!

Wow, talk about an easy setup to get running. Pull everything out of the box, figure out how you want to run the water and in less than an hour got water pumping through it. Everything needed and pre-assembled so there won't be any headaches.

It is unusual in today's market place to receive a product so well thought out. The package contained all the various hard to find obscure plumbing fittings to mate with a multitude of house hold plumbing configurations. I have used the unit for 14 months with no complaints. I have never successfully figured out the monitor filter monitor rest function, but one day I will get around to having my 12 year old explain it to me I’m sure. All in all I was very pleased with this unit.

This is the best addition to my 120 reef tank. Build quality is outstanding, filter changing is quick and easy with the pressure gauge for the sediment filters and the TDS meter and color changing media for the RO/DI resin. Zero regrets here!

First of all- it says alot about BRS that they know, and take into account chloramine. I live in SF which uses it, and never heard of a RO/DI unit tailored to address it- glad I came across this. The unit is top quality, well thought out, and I'm looking forward to getting it fired up!

This unit made it very simple for me to use RO/DI water instead of RO water from the LFS. Great investment as I no longer need to go to the LFS every couple of weeks for water. The only downside has been the flow meter resets to 0 if I move the unit.

I have had other RO systems before but, this one far exceeds any of the other systems. This unit is built for the long haul and very easy to get up and running (10 minutes). Spending a bit more and getting the deluxe system is money well spent! Having the ability so see gallons that have been processed and TDS before and after the DI section is the best. Wow! What a fantastic product by BRS. This unit is so simple to setup in very easy to maintain. The built in TDS meter, filter moniter, and flush valve are what make this deluxe unit worth every penny. I like to make my equipment upkeep and maintenance to a minimum. This unit has it all. This is a unit that will last for years so don't cut yourself short by just getting the bare minimum, step up to the BRS deluxe RO/DI six stage unit!

I was worried about going to RO water because of the perceived hassle and mess with setting up and running a system, with the auto shut off system and float valves, my water reservoir system is now fully automated and pain free, couldn't have hoped for a better product

So it was time to replace all the pieces of my old Kent HI-S system I had for three years. This was a 35 GPD system and the membrane alone was going to over $100 with S/H not to mention the other parts. Decided to upgade to this system for for just a bit more. Couldn't be happier!
