The price difference between the simple $75 unit and this unit will save you a lot of time and money down the road. Save up the extra $200 and get this one. You get so many more great useful accessories that would purchased individually cost you significantly more than $200. This is the best RO/DI producing unit that I have owned. I have owned 3 different ones prior to this. I had my older ones under the kitchen sink. I have this one in my basement near my garage doors so changing cartridges and the occasional spill are no big deal. I purchased 100' of extra tubing and have my ice maker and instant hot water unit feeding off the sediment and carbon block filters but before the RO and DI filters. After moving it to the basement garage I even decided to hook up the ice maker to my second fridge in the basement as well! It's nice having ice in the garage.

I shopped and compared many systems and in the end, this Deluxe unit was by far the best value. Best of all, it’s a complete setup. By the time a less expensive unit is “built-up”, you save nothing and waste a lot of time. This unit was well worth the wait!

I bought this RO/DI unit to give my reef the best chance of success and to get the most out of my salt mix. I have seen a marked improvement in the health and growth of my corals and a significant decrease in undesireable algaes. Great investment, nice convenient features too. Very simple to get set up and running 20 minutes tops, mounted and producing water.

i looked at the 5 stage deluxe but decided on the 6 stage deluxe with the extra features. unit came completly put togather and ready for hook up. tds meter filter monitor pressure gage and flush valve were installed. hook up three lines supply drain and ro filter to the di and your ready to make pure water.brs has really fast shipping

I waited a few weeks after I had received the unit to install it because I wanted to set a few hours aside to get it up and running. I should have done it the day I received it! It was soooo easy to install (and I had to run the tubes through some walls!) It took me exactly 1.5 hours with all the work of mounting, connecting the supply/drain, and connecting all the tds meters etc. I am so pleased with this system. The water that goes into the system has been recorded above 600tds but normally is around 430tds. After the RO unit it is in the 20s, after the DI unit, it is at 0! Great product!

I did alot of research before deciding on this unit over other units like Spectrapure MaxCap systems. In comparison to the other systems I looked at, the deluxe configuration seemed to represent the best value in terms of quality and features. I ordered this system with the add on drinking water kit and an extra TDS meter to monitor the input and pre RO-filter stages. I'm located in LA and I have ~240 TDS coming into the system, ~220 after the sediment / carbon stages, ~6 after the RO filter, and zero TDS coming out of the DI stages. I'm finding that backwashing the RO stage before / after each use helps settle the TDS levels much quicker.
