First one, It is something i will need a little time before i go all out and say much more. But i did fine out at first i needed to spend a lot of time removing air out of the anion resin. it would be help full if they had some type of air release valve rather then opening up the container every time.

Bought this 7 months ago and hooked it to my sump with a float and it has not missed a beat. It keeps my water level where it is supposed to be with 0 TDS water. Also installed a "T" fitting to allow me to fill bottles for my nano tanks at work. This RO unit is definitely worth the money.

I did a bit of research (forums, youtube, etc...) on what to look for in a RO/DI system and made a list of component and manufacturers. As I've stayed really pretty loyal to BRS I was happy to see they had a system. I was even happier when I read the reviews. I was EVEN happier when I got it and set it up in a matter of minutes. Just let it run off for a while and everything read great! Maybe wish I went with a 150GPD, but only because I'm impatiently setting up a 180g! Ha!

Very happy with this system, comes with everything needed for just about any application. The float switch will be great when I add a poly storage tank, glad to see that was included. I've only had the unit a few months, but has worked flawlessly. Other than the filter monitor Velcro falling off (which i knew it would from others reviews and it did the first or second day) I don't think I could have bought a nicer system for twice the money. New to saltwater my LFS recommended BRS. The BRS 6 stage unit as provided all the 0 TDS water needed to start and maintain my tank. Mounted, plumbed and created water within 60 minutes of arrival. The non-leaking quick connects, easy change filters make this system a winner.

I'm writing this review because I was a big skeptic and felt this was just cheap, cheap rodi for reefers on a budget. Well my high end over priced rodi needed complete filter replacing but lucky a close friend was breaking his tank down and offered me this 6 stage. I was a little skeptic but more of a critic....well I did the research and i did the test against 3 other units.

The first sediment is a purtex 5 micron? What! I was accustomed to .5 micron but soon learned the purtex will filter up to .6 which means it will clog later and the longevity is higher. The larger particles get filtered earlier and in the end the water has to pass through .6 micron so that's a win and its a lot cheaper. Then the carbon which is 2 and 3 chamber and of course it's laid out just as good if not better than others. The Dual Di is just that DI so no need to add to that but the membrane is filmtec and has a 99%@ 65psi rejection rate....what! I was hoping for a little better than 96% but this is a big plus. The other company charges more for membranes for so called test but we know 75gph membranes are known for its ejection rates. As a matter of fact they removed their 75gph membrane and listed it sold out for years since I checked. All they are doing is selling them as 90gpd and charging 10% more for tested...chances are if u buy a 75gpd membrane it will have a high rejection rate, it's cheaper on here btw. Everything on this unit is top notch, yeah we all heard it before but this is the real deal.

I don't know how I feel about the filter monitor and isn't user friendly. To reset the unit is easy but I guess that's all it really does do? It's like a timer and reads the amount of water that passes and after a certain gph it will tell u to replace which filter. Time will tell but I'm accustomed to the age old gauge but this has both and a high end oil filled gauge. The in line tds with self shut off is pretty sweet, I have used the older models and this new one is just as good but more visually pleasing to the eye with lager display. I'm very happy with this unit and would of saved a ton have I read more detailed reviews on specs so the reason for this. All in all this is the most affordable rodi with highest value on the market. Yes, I checked everyone but given their reputation and value no way I would even consider a diff brand. They don't try to rip and make a reasonable profit. I have no problems with to continually support a company as such.

Dual DI is the way to go. I have an extra resin container and keep it ready to go. When the TDS climbs from zero, you remove the inlet side DI, swap the outlet Side DI to the inlet side, and replace th outlet side with the fresh one. This rotation works very well.

I've had my unit for a year now and have had zero issues. My filters lasted just over a year or ~3500 gallons. This system fills up a 5 gallon bucket in about 2 hours. I've been very happy, 0 tds every time. When I called buck reef supply for replacement filters they were very helpful. I'm a very happy customer.

Never had a problem with BRS products. This RO/DI system does it all. It comes ready to go plug and play. Filters last a long time.

I have been running this 6 stage unit for 60 days now and I can't say enough good things about it. As with everything I buy from BRS it seems to be a top quality product. But more importantly, BRS stands behind all that I buy and are wonderful to deal with.

If you have the money to get this setup, do it. For the amount of money you have invested (or about to invest) in your tank, start with the best water you can get. I am getting 0 TDS out of the DI canisters.

Install time took just minutes. All of the connections are extremely high quality and well worth the money you spend on the setup. The drain saddle clamp is awesome, I have my setup next to my water heater and well pressure tank, with the drain hooked up to one of my bathroom drain standpipes. The only concern I have is with backflow of the drain water into the waste line - I'll be ordering a check valve from BRS to alleviate that concern!

The connections provided with the kits are perfect, any situation you can think of for hooking up is provided for. No hunting down parts at the local hardware store!

The filter minder and upgraded TDS meter, as well as the flush kit and oil filled gauge- all top notch. Let's face it, as reefers we tend to upgrade things all the time and regret buying the lower end products (I for one have a box of things I've upgraded). Just go for the deluxe setup and go for all the high end stuff now!

what I like about this filter is that it is ready to go out of the box with all the connections already made, perfect water quality. zero TDS coming out everytime. well made filter with quality filters.

Have had this system going now for about 5 months and I am very pleased with the value and performance this has given so far. Hassle free installation took less than an hour. I do reccomend the 150 GPD upgrade for those with larger tanks who will be changing a larger water volume on a regular basis. The built in TDS meter is very useful in knowing exactly when you should change the resin out. I highly reccomend this RODI unit to any serious marine aquarium hobbyist.

I have used a 5 stage system before and thought it was a great system, then I found the BRS 6 stage deluxe system. This thing is great, absolutely zero TDS coming out. On my old system the TDS started creeping up after a few months of use. I am on well water so the water pressure is a bit of a problem but it still will fill up a 5 gal. Bucket in about an hour on a good day, a little longer when the pressure is down. I also got the add on drinking water system which the wife loves ( we all know how important it is to keep the wife happy) Filtered drinking water on demand is awesome...now all I need is a booster pump to reach the full potential of this filter.

I love the quality of water, but one of the features I don't really use. Instead of the filter monitor, I'd prefer another dual TDS on the RO unit since that helps me know when it's time to change the media better than the volume of water produced. I love 0 TDS water and my tank has never looked better. Great product :)

I bought a RO/DI unit from a lfs, but returned it because it cost more and had less features. The float valve is great, I don't have worry about water overflowing. This system comes with everything you need. This is a high quality unit and a great value.

Excellent quality system and easy to install. Occasionally I test the water and it comes up with no nitrates every time. It is so much easier do to my water changes now.

I bought this system because I knew that I would need to have a nice reservoir of fresh RO/DI water ready for my marine tank and driving back and forth from the LFS for water just didn't seem like a good idea.

I got the unit in a nicely packaged box from BRS and I could tell right away that it was a quality product. The materials used to make this system are top notch and it was incredibly easy to setup. I followed the instructions and was creating RO/DI water in no time. I wanted a more “automated” solution, so I decided to make a direct and permanent connection to my house’s water supply. BRS also has videos available to show you how to do that and it was pretty easy to do.

I now have a self-filling (with float valve) RO/DI system that I am very pleased with and makes the tasks of topping off my tank or mixing salt water a breeze.

The attention to detail with this RO/DI system is outstanding. BRS uses high quality parts to build these systems. Everything is put together for you. Only thing you have to do is unpackage it, and install the source, drain and product water lines. EASY!

This is an excellent system that includes a lot of the small parts and pieces that you don't think of ahead of time, but end up running to Home Depot to buy last minute. This system illustrates how much forethought and purpose-specific insight goes into BRS' products: they truly tailor their products to the conscientious reefer.

While the 5 stage might be a better price, this system includes things that you'll probably end up purchasing for the 5 stage system anyways, and because of that, it's probably worth it to purchase this unit instead and have all the things you need from the get-go. Definitely recommended.

This is the system that I have. The velcro really does fall off, but itsokay just get some different type of velcro. The TDS meter is secured in a bracket and it is pretty nice. Mine however does not work anymore, I just purchased the RO/DI system a few months ago. I have emailed BRS, no answer? Maybe I need to email again? Other than that nice product. Very easy to set up.

I was able to install this in less than an hour including mounting some plywood to the wall and installing a Y connector on my washing machine cold water faucet. Once installed I had water coming out in about 5 minutes.

Very nice RO/DI filter. BRS again sets the standard. Very well made filter.

This is a great system with all the bells and whistles you'll need to get up and running quickly, plus you get perfect water with zero TDS. For years my FW planted tank was problematic while other tanks looked so nice but after my first 40% water change the water was crystal clear and my sediment problems gone, don't wait because you do need one dispite what others might tell you.

I looked everywhere else and this system is the best value for the money. Everything needed for the install was included in the kit. The filter replacements are the best and can be found everywhere, but again Bulk Reef Supply has the best pricing on them too. My results were 3 gallons waste water for every gallon RO/DI produced at 70psi and 75 deg. Easy install, lots of extras with this package. Thanks

I had this entire system mounted to the wall and running in about an hour. The instructions are clear. I would go ahead and buy a 6-stage refil kit at the same time.

very durable! been using this system for more than a year now, the meters tells you how well the filtered water is, I might even get a bigger unit for my new tank setup!

I am using this system heavily, and it performs exactly as advertised. It was fairly simple to set up, and fits well under my sink.

previously use another name brand... got this unit, with the 75gpd upgrade and booster pump (because we are on a well now)... system does everything that I had hoped for -- excellent product.

When I started the hobby I didn't know about BRS. I also didn't research ro/di as much as I should have. Here's my story...

I purchased a Watts premier ro-pure model as my first ro unit. While the system may be good enough for drinking water I don't feel as though it's good enough for aquarium water.

As my tank aged the parameters slowly built up and before you knew it I had an explosion of algae issues. Not just the expected algae bloom in my tanks infancy. I then started researching more and more. Trying to find the cause.

I came across BRS and not only saw that I was over charged for the watts premier that I bought, but I had been paying through the nose for filter cartridges.

Upon receiving this unit I hooked it up to a water station. Two brute trashcans. One for ro/di top off and the other for saltwater.

Since using this unit the algae issues are starting to subside. I would strongly recommend using these quality units. I only wish I would have found BRS sooner.

The amount of fittings and everything included makes this a steal.

Only 2 minor complaints.

1. The item description wasn't clear. I assumed the float valve was the deluxe (adjustable) model. I needed two for my setup so i had to buy an extra one. I bought the adjustable but this one comes with the standard float valve.

2. The filter monitor Velcro fell off 2 days after I installed the unit. No biggie, but a pain none the less.

I bought this unit after my old RO/DI failed when i changed a filter. (the plastic canister blew apart) It is very nice to know exactly what filters are being used in your unit and have easy access to order more. I went with bulkreefsupply because they build quality units in house and every unit turns out with 5 star quality.

This unit is the best, it has all the perks and is very inexpensive. I added an extra membrane, both 150gpd membranes with flow restrictor and a booster pump.

I have had this for over a year now and it works great. I use it for my nano tank and for drinking water. It is a great value for what you get

The Deluxe unit comes with very easy to follow directions. I added a 150gallon upgrade to mine and it came pre-installed. All I had to do was add the supply and connect to the drain and I was making RO in no time. I have since plumbed the water to all my tanks and a reserve as well as a salt mixing station. I plan to purchase the Drinking water upgrade in the future.

Just set up the unit today and it took less than 10 minutes. I am really glad that i got the plus system since it has all the additional accessories that most people will end up buying eventually.

Nice sturdy unit, easy setup, nice instructions. Recommend booster pump if water pressure low. Dual Tds monitor and filter change alarm is nice.

I previously had a name-brand RO system, but started shopping around after having some silicate problems. Since I've been using this system, I've had no problems. Water quality is great, it produces much more water than my old system, and it's consistently at 0 TDI. The included meter and filter change reminders are great.

With the previous system, setting it up involved soaking the RO membrane, and letting the system run for ~12 hours. This came preassembled, and ready to go.

Highly recommended.

I have to say i've used many RO systems and this one is simply the best bang for your buck. The fact they include TDI meters and the components necessary for setup leaves me a happy camper!

All I had to do was plug a few hoses in and it was making 0TDS water right out of the gate.

We all know its a great product 34 other reviews prove that. My RO/DI showed up and was damaged from shipping. I called customer support and they gave me a couple options, shipping a whole new product or just the coupling to fix it. The coupling was sent out the same day (they actually sent 4 just in case I broke it when installing) and it took me 5 min to fix it and I was making 0 TDS water. Great product and fantastic customer support.

I bought this system about a month ago and it has made all the difference in the world. My tank is clean and all of my parameters are more stable. I was buying my water from my LFS and it seemed dirty. In the last month since I have been using this RODI unit my tank is now thriving. If you are on the fence on one of these unit I highly recommend BRS. Customer service is second to none.

The 6 Stage Deluxe system is a quality product. It is extremely easy to use and it is very durable. The steel brackets are very strong as are the plastic media canisters.

The system comes with multiple attachments for hooking up to your water supply.

One complaint is that the LCD Filter monitor is attached with a velcro-backed sticker. My sticker fell off immediately.

this system is so easy to use and 0 tds every gallon make sure to get the extra membrane it cuts your waste water down to 1.5 to 1.0 not bad for a ro system at this price!!

Received my unit today, took it out of the very well packaged box, hooked it up and after a flush of the system, all is well. This unit far exceeded my expectations and well worth the extra cost for the convenient accessories. Kudos to Bulk Reef for one hell of a great product.
